Chapter 18: Training Time

Risa - we have a training center.

Leo - Mind showing me where it is?

Risa takes Leo to the back of her house where there is a building. The building is a rusted red color with a black weathered door and a keypad used to open said door on the side. Risa walks up and places her hand on the pad a green light scans her hand then, with a beep, a robotic voice says 'Welcome Risa Hart". The door opens with a swift motion, kicking up the air. An echo resounds throughout the room and spiritually energy floods into Leo's senses, making his body slightly vibrate in anticipation. The spiritual energy there is dense and of high quality. The gym is split off into three sections with a huge square opening where sparring matches are held. Risa bids Leo farewell and tells him there's a one-day difference between here and the outside world so he will be here for two weeks. What she doesn't know is Leo has more than two weeks to train.

[ so what, is she your girlfriend now?] the system teased

Leo -" stop playing I am just helping her with her problem then I will leave," Leo says with a blank stare on his face.

[ok whatever you want. The way you're going, she is either going to be your close friend or girlfriend]

Leo - "This is just a favor ok?" he replies angrily

[sure. what happened to That brat you were traveling with?]

Leo - what are you talking about?

Leo - "Oh my GOD!!!" Leo exclaims, exasperated," I forgot but how do you know her?"He asks curiously and slightly panicked

Leo - "without asking permission!?"Leo responded, slightly angered.

[yes, I look at your memories without your permission all the time. There's nothing you can do about it, but do you wanna go cry to mommy? Will that make it better?]

Leo - Shut up! Go away system.

[Yeah, yeah. Alright.]

'I can't do anything to help Megan out if I don't even know where she is and, even if I find her, I can't even protect or help her, Damn it all!!! I can't do anything because I'm so weak! I have got to get stronger!' Leo resolutely psyches himself up.

'The only thing I can do now is to train myself!' Leo thinks to himself. 'But first, I need a cultivation method. let's see, let me fix my dantian first. Leo first checks out his dantian. He takes up a stance in the lotus position and closes his eyes. Leo can see pieces of his dantian on the floor. He used his soul energy to pick the tiny pieces of the shattered dantian up and pieces them together like a puzzle.

Leo - system can you give me a dantian healing pill?

Leo - because at the start of every manga, a person who gets a system gets some start-up rewards and you didn't give me any, so I am asking to exchange the start-up reward for a dantian healing pill.

[fine you smart bastard]

a pill floats in front of Leo. He takes it and pops it in his mouth. the pill explodes and the spiritual energy disperses towards his dantian and starts doing its job. after an hour, his dantian is fixed. he then proceeded to check out his second dantian.

When he looks into his second dantian he can see the vague shape of a sword. none of the pieces of his second dantian are there. he reaches for the sword with his soul energy, and when it touches the sword he gets kicked out. When Leo opens his eyes, the sword is floating in front of him. It was a beautiful sword. It had a black blade with white runes on each side, a hilt the same color as the night sky, and an overbearing thing to take in. he reach out to it when he touches it, the sword goes into his hand and a rune appears on the back of his hand. when this happens, the katana comes out and then the black sword too. both swords start flying at each other at an incredible speed. The overpowering might of the newly acquired sword started to gain speed and power with each passing minute. the katana kept getting pushed back until it finally gave in and the black sword absorbed the katana. the sword goes retreats into Leo's hand. 'what the hell did I just watch? why were the katana and the black sword fighting?' Leo thinks as he touches the rune on his right hand and a cultivation method pops into his head.

A bunch of armor, swords, daggers, rings, spirit stones, gold, potions, and many other stuff appeared out of nowhere in an instant. Three objects from the mix-matched pile started to float. Two swords and one ring. At the same time, the black sword flies out of the rune and starts to fight the other swords but the ring pulsated once, causing all the swords to stop fighting and get absorbed by the ring. when Leo saw this, he was about to say something, obviously outraged, but the ring flew to the rune of the black sword and went inside. the rune changed and the ring appeared on his hand.

Leo - "wtf? what's going on? why did the rune change? and why did the ring appear on my hand?" Leo says out loud, confused.

Leo - "what type of weapon is a ring? are you serious? unless it is one of those rings that can make a weapon appear out of nowhere." Leo says with an irritated face, not amused by the system's question.

Leo - "what an amazing ring!" Leo says with a wary face

[ why, are you not happy? It's only something of the elusive god class. Want to exchange it for a pacifier or something?]

Leo - "haha. I don't like it because I could make something like this and add more effects anyways. what is the cost of using this in this world? this is overly broken so what is the cost?" Leo asks with a curious face

Leo - WHAT!!!

[ seriously. it costs nothing to use this ring. ]

Leo - you're lying. this overly broken ring in this world and it has no cost to use? You're playing right?

Leo - "ok, so I can use this broken-ass ring as much as I like, got it. ok, let's train and become more overpowered!" Leo exclaims with a proud smile.

Leo starts to grab pills and potions. He makes a god-tier healing pill then, makes two more. he then started consuming the pills and potions at such an astonishing rate, that any normal person's stomach would ache from just looking at him. Now he has a massive amount of energy in him, and sits in the lotus potion. he starts leading the surplus of energy to his dantian. His first dantian is about the size of a tennis ball now as he sends the energy of the pill and potion to the dantian little by little. He gets tired all of a sudden and sends it all in at the same time, but the energy is too much for him to handle within his body he eats all of the god-tier healing pills to counter the sweeping energy that is getting out of hand fast. his dantian starts expanding at a fast rate it gets to the size of a basketball then explodes again but this time a mini gazelle appears. it has a solar system in it and there are seven-star, all of which, are black and hollow. Leo is curious about the star and starts to send energy to them in hopes of getting a reaction. he fills the first star with energy then moves to the second. it takes all of the energy he has left and is filled he takes look at the first star it changed color it is the same as the second star when you look inside you see a blue flame, burning silently.

Leo - No I am going to take a wild guess but in each of the stars there is going to be a piece of the eternal flame right so when all of the seven stars are lit get the whole eternal flame.

'Ok then let's keep going he says.' Leo remakes every pill and potion he used, but this time seven of each. he consumes it all, then takes all seven god-tier healing pills he fills all seven stars.

'OK, a lot of new things let me check my galaxy.' when he checks the galaxy all seven stars are rotating around this new star in the middle, which is bigger than the rest. it looks black and void of any life. there's a small flicker of fire burning. 'I want it,' Leo thinks to himself. even though he doesn't know what it is for, for some reason a chain appears and is unlocked. He then looked at the rest of his body to discover six similar chains on his body.

DING![new title obtained: the Sin Of Greed ]

'I've obtained the title of sin that means! I can collect all the titles of sins and become the demon king of sins! what an amazing turn of events!' Leo then starts to cultivate again but without pills or potions. he just naturally absorbed astral energy from the air.
