"You've never heard of a demon before?" Lan Yingying looked at him with surprise.

"A demon? That thing? This is my first time hearing about them, much less seeing one." Yuan said, and he continued, "How are they any different compared to magical beasts?"

"They're vastly superior to magical beasts overall. Just like how magical beasts are stronger than human cultivators at the same cultivation level, demons are stronger than magical beasts and by a huge margin as well. A Spirit Apprentice demon can even defeat a Spirit Warrior cultivator with ease." Lan Yingying explained to him.
