DELUSIONS

Lucifer. The man stood behind me was Lucifer. I turn around in my frozen form and look at the fire behind his eyes, he’s angry.

You abandoned me.

His voice echos through the kitchen and yet his lips are not moving, he, is not moving. Feeling myself unable to breathe, I step backwards, leaning against the sink for support as I try to stop the spinning in my head from causing me to pass out once more.

I told you not to do that.

His voice continued to echo into my head as my heart rate picked up pace while the kitchen started to spin around me as I gasped for air. I was panicking.

You will never get too far away from me.

/"Stop!/"

I yelled through my sobs as I tried to catch my breath, my heart was pounding and the oxygen around me seemed to have evaporated, I thought I was going to die, I could feel my death coming to me and just before I gave into it, the light in the house came on.
