Chapter 4 Li Xin, It's Time To Prove Your Faith!
In the middle of the camp stands a tall wooden house that looks out of place among the messy surroundings.
A warm bonfire is burning inside, around which several people are gathered.
One of them asks their boss about a new church called the Church of Dawn that has recently appeared in the camp and gained popularity.
The boss dismisses it as another group trying to use religion for their own gain.
However, some of the others think that the Church of Dawn might be real, based on a vision they saw the night before.
The boss orders one of his men to investigate and warns him not to play any tricks like before.
This boss, named Liu Hao, has a large scar on his face and rules over the Eastern District of the camp, which brings in a lot of money through daily protection fees.
Despite being small, the camp is divided into four groups and the Church of Dawn's appearance has disrupted their territory.
It's not fair for others to snore on the couch next to you!
Unfortunately, this isn't the only church causing trouble.
Just a few days ago, some outsiders started a doomsday religion and managed to gain a lot of followers.
However, they were caught and punished.
Their heads are now displayed on the east gate of the camp as a warning.
"Okay, boss," said the man.
He grabbed his machete and prepared to leave.
"Take a gun with you. Even if it's not in the best condition, it's better than a machete," the boss replied.
"Got it," the man said with excitement. He walked over to a corner of the wooden house and opened a regular box.
Inside were several pistols and a few boxes of ammunition.
Amid the envious looks of those around him, the fifth man selected a 54 police pistol and walked out triumphantly.

"Lord, we only have five pounds of meat and three pounds of moldy rice right now.
We also have some tree roots that are barely edible. This won't be enough for more than 30 people a day," said Li Lanxiang sadly as she looked at the food in the wooden house.
It was donated by thirty members of the Dawn Church, but it wouldn't be enough to feed even three people properly.
Ye Qingcheng didn't seem bothered by the lack of food.
He smiled at Li Lanxiang and told her not to worry about it.

A man burst into the room, panicked and covered in blood.
A loud noise echoed and the man fell to the ground.
A group of men entered, led by a burly man.
They threatened and harassed the people in the room, especially the women.
The man demanded to know the leader of the Church of the Lord of Dawn and threatened to kill them.
The situation was tense and dangerous.
Ye Qingcheng calmly stood up in front of the fifth child who was suspicious of him.
He spoke to Li Xin about the trials and difficulties that come with spreading the teachings of the Lord of Dawn and the inevitability of killing for the greater good.
Ye Qingcheng then ignored the man and others and left the wooden house without any defense.
The man, angered by the disrespect shown to him, tried to attack Ye Qingcheng from behind with a machete.
However, the attack was stopped by an ice blade created by Li Xin, a girl with extraordinary powers.
One of the attackers fell to the ground and the machete slipped from the fifth child's hand.
He was shocked to see the power of Li Xin and her ability.
Ye Qingcheng led his men to defeat the alien followers.
