CHAPTER 280: LYDIA HAS BEEN KIDNAPPED!

"Hahaha! Hahaha! Hahaha!" Lydia broke into a heartful laugh even though she was in pain causing the man to gaze at her in confusion.

"And you think I will agree to that? You must be insane to say such a thing!" Diana blurted out after laughing for a few seconds.

"I want the pregnancy to be terminated! And that is final! I am not here to agree with you or disagree. You are very ungrateful! I wanted to make  you rich and also help your daughter out but you are still denying it? Poor people are mindless!"  Mr Ruben said in arrogance.

"You must be out of your senses to say such a thing! You don't think I am stupid, do you? I know you are doing all of that because you don't want people to know what your son did! And for your information, I may be poor but I know my value! Not like you who walks everywhere insulting people because you are rich! You don't have the right to force me! My baby will not terminate the pregnancy!" Diana was already on her heels without a care about the pain that Lisa had to walk closer to her and got hold of her.

"Hahaha! We shall see!" And with that, the man walked out of the room, full of himself.

"Mother! What was that for? You know you are still in pain!" Lisa exclaimed in anger as she helped her back onto the bed.

"He is very annoying, Lisa! You know nothing about these rich people! I once dated a rich...no! No! Hahaha!" Diana came back to her senses.

'What was I saying just now?' She thought.

"Wow! Where is he now? I wish he were our dad! Tell me about him, mama!" Lisa's eyes were already glittering making Diana gaze at her lap.

What was she about to reveal? Sigh!

"Just forget about him, Lisa! After all, that happened a long time ago, before I met your dad" She stuttered but she eventually managed.

"Okay mother, if you say so!"

Suddenly, Diana exclaimed, "Lisa! Run to the house and check on your sister!" 

"What? What happened to her? She is still cooking by now, mother" Lisa answered in confusion. Her mother's brain was working differently.

"No! Just got and check on her! What? No! Lisa go now!" Diana froze! She was already feeling uncomfortable! Something was weird with the way the man stated his last statement!

What if..., "Run now!" Diana was about to jump out of the bed but Lisa stopped her by rushing out of the hospital.

After all, the hospital was closer to their house so it would take Lisa less than five minutes to reach the house.

"Something is fishy!" Diana's heart was beating tremendously and she was sure it would jump out of her chest.

"Please protect my baby dear Lord!" She murmured a prayer but later, she wasn't able to take it anymore.

She held the bed's pillar and jumped out of bed, probably wanting to move out.

AT HOME AFTER SOME MINUTES!

"Lydia! Lydia!" Lisa shouted at the top of her lungs as she called her sister but there was no response.

She ran to the kitchen but there was no one except the food that was boiling in the gas cooker. She switched off the gas and ran out of the kitchen with fear creeping in her heart.

Something was fishy! But where was her sister?

"Lydia! Lydia!" Lisa shouted as she looked for her sister all over the place.

"Liiiiiisaaaaa! Help! heeeeeeeeeeeelp!" What? Was that not her sister?

Lisa ran to the back of the house because the voice was coming  from that side as she kept calling her name!
