CHAPTER 234: AFTER ONE YEAR

"Son! What is happening to you? You are not the Alex that I know. You don't listen to us anymore. Just drinking all day leading to your workers to slug in the office' Lady Nea, Alex's mother tapped the young man that was on his world with a bottle of alcohol in front of him.

"Please talk to me! It has been a whole year now but you look different Alex. I can't allow this to continue. Jamilah just woke up today!' The lady stretched the part where Jamilah woke up but it was nothing to Alex as he continued to lean on the couch while gazing at the ceiling but his eyes were closed.

It had been a whole year now since that explosion. Jamilah had been in a coma for the whole year it was this day that the girl woke up. 

Walter and Samir, wanted to go behind Alex's back after Nea refused them because of her husband's unfaithfulness and married the girl off to Alex without his knowledge. Thank lady Camila who disagreed with them heavenly with that evil thought. She reasoned with them that if Alex was smart, he might jail all of them without caring who they were. The best thing, was for the girl to wake up first then they would let them date and finally, at least they would understand each other as there was no one in Alex's life. To them, it was easy for Alex to marry Jamilah as the man was lonely.

Camila was able to come to her senses and she forgave her husband that now, they were in India with their daughter whose health was still not good until recently.

She decided to forgive him externally but internally, she had vowed to destroy the woman and her girls who tried to ruin her family. After all, she had the pictures so it was easy for her. But now she had to look after her daughter, Jamilah until she get better then dealt with them later.

Lady Camila had been looking for her son Mark together with her husband who didn't know anything about the secret that Camila told him but their efforts were futile. The boy was not to be found so they decided to go back to India to give a closer eye on their daughter's health first before thinking about Mark.

Samir knew nothing about his wife's evil scheme regarding his illegitimate girls. He didn't even suspect her.

Back to Mark;

After all, Mark was not too young, if he wanted to see them, he would just look for them because they couldn't even get him through the phone.

Samir had asked his men to look for the boy but what made him confused was that the boy was not to be found even by his men.

Camila had been somehow worried about the whole thing. Something told her that the boy might have travelled to India without their knowledge to look for his biological father. But she also had the hope that the boy knew nothing about the man and what he looked like. After all, she believed that the man might have been dead because of all the evil things he did.

Nea came from her thoughts and gazed at her boy,

"Alex! Alex! Do you even hear me?" Lady Nea sighed at the sight of her boy who was in his world.

She was dying with worry because the young man had been behaving weirdly for the whole one year that had passed now.

He never went to greet his parents and brother at the mansion which made his mum and brother Dean who was now working at the family company because he just completed his studies last year come and look for him instead.

Nea remembered the time she was disappointed in her husband for what the man said in the hospital that day.

She still remembered him talking about his friend's sister but later on, they had fought about it but still, Walter denied that he had an affair with the lady.

She had taken a break and went to live alone but her son, Dean couldn't let her be, instead he convinced her to come back. Because Alex never cared about his family anymore and he always gave them a deaf ear hence Dean went and talk to his mum saying that she should return home not because of her father but because he and his brother who was going crazy at the moment.

Hearing about it, Nea let her ego slide and returned home for her son's sake. She valued her children more than anything in this world and she could do anything for them both. Till now, Nea was sleeping in the guest room since she returned to her marital house.
