"I mean.. My room would have been better! And you! Why are you throwing tantrums when she is trying to help?" Ethan looked embarrassed the way he had asked for justification as if Lia was cheating on him.

Lia stood up from her seat with confusion but Olivia had a smirk on her face.

"If a pretty lady is trying to help me. How could I dare to throw a tantrum? I was just telling her that I am better. I would be fine once I would eat something to gain back my energy. Right?" She gently rubbed Lia's hands with a flirtatious smile on her face when Ethan's face turned darker.

His face was so gloomy that it looked darker than the bottom of the burnt pan.

"Ohh, i will go and cook nutritious chicken soup for you then. It would be good for your health." with a bright smile on her face, as if she was finally from a big burden, Lia nodded and was about to run out when Ethan blocked the way.

"You have been making food for all of us since morning. You must be tired. You should not cook again." Lia's brows furrowed. She was in haste to help her real mistress. The woman she had sworn loyalty to.

How does it matter if she cooks again for her? She could cook all her life if it comes to Olivia. He noticed how she was looking at him as if he was a fool, "and.. The chicken you are talking about, it flew away!" he added hastily when a look of bafflement filled her face.

"But.. but I have already killed and frozen it. How could it fly?"

"Pfftttt! Oh my, hahahahs!" Olivia felt a cramp in her stomach and her back pained further when she laughed but she could not get hold of herself.

One was too dumb and naive and other was too dense.

"I.. I mean. It was smelling. So, I threw it away. Now do not ask me more questions.

If he is starving due to master. Master must feed him. Why are you getting so much worked up?" Ethan walked closer towards Olivia who was laying leisurely on the bed holding her head on her one hand while keeping the elbow on the bed and staring at them with twinkling eyes.

"And you. I do not think that you are sick anymore. So, go and ask the master to take you to an inn for lunch." he harrumphed but she only raised a brow and the evil smile on her face only grew.

He was sure that she would not agree and gave another plan when she nodded her head surprisingly.

"I agree with Ethan. You are working too hard, Lia. shall we go to an inn and have a meal there?"

"We! What do you mean by we! We have already had your meal and I think the master would like to have a private meal with you. So, only you two should go.'' Like a beast fighting for its territory, the eyes of Ethan had turned sharp and his voice was full of venom as he continued to stare at Olivia as if she could be a possible threat.

Olivia wanted to laugh hard again. Lia was nothing but her personal maid, if more they could be called sisters. But he was marking her so blatantly as if she was here to steal Lia from him.

"You should not be the one to decide for her. Lia, what do you want?" Like a puppy who was abandoned by his master, Ethan turned to stare at Lia too as if he would cry if she would not support his words but the woman in question was too dense.

Her main goal was to take care of her mistress and save her from a beast like Alex. Olivia had always been too carefree about her surroundings and position.

She was a princess, so her lover could only be one of high noble standing. Though Alex was a good knight and a kind human. He did not deserve her.

If Olivia would not take care of it, she would be the one to draw a line between her and Alex.

"Of course, I would go. I have never been to a market here or a fine inn. I want to go and see how this city is." she acted excited when Ethan blinked.

How foolish of him to never think about it like that. He should have asked her out or offered to go out with her to the market. Was that the reason that she did not go alone to the market? She was afraid and needed company!

He wanted to slap himself hard on his cheeks as he missed a good chance!

"Ah, then I should come too. When master and Oliver would discuss their matter. I would show you around.

My father's have a few businesses in the market too." he flaunted as he was sure that she would be interested. Women always get interested when it comes to wealth and power but Lia just nodded but her eyes kept staring at Olivia.

"And.." Olivia laughed again at his efforts. He was really trying hard to win her heart without even realizing it.

His face was like a puppy that was trying hard to get adopted that she felt for Ethan. Though she did not know much about him, Olivia knew that Lia had no where to go and if she could find a man whom she could rely on and start a family with, that would be best for her.

With a look of arrogance in her eyes, she rubbed her hands and announced to both of them,

"Alright, then all four of us are going out. Tell your master that I want to discuss the terms of the appointment over a meal."

"Oh that! You have to first defeat Tavern to show your worth in the team only then you would be taken in."
