Season Two: Chapter Forty Four (Part I)

Silence took place after Chase asked the question. Lia remained silent as she allowed the heartfelt words from the man to sink deep into her heart, with tears flowing down from her eyes uncontrollably. Chase panicked. He wanted to stand up, rushing forward to the crying woman. But Lia held on and gave him a stop signal, stopping the man from getting up. Then she walked towards Chase on baby steps. Chase waited patiently for her to reach him, and when she reached out to hold his hands. The man took a breath and felt his heart skip a beat as he was dazzled by Lia's angelic appearance before him.

"Baby?" Chase whispered.

"Put it on me..." Lia murmured, her voice as low as ever.

"Baby!" Chase couldn't believe his ears. So does that mean...

"Yes, I will marry you, Chase." Lia nodded her head with a sweet smile plastered on her blissful looking face. "I love you, too."
