How Could You

Sometimes you hold onto an idea for so long that you totally ignore the changes around you. For your comfort you keep comforting lies close to you rather than facing the harsh truth. Something like this Rachel did to herself. She married Jeremy because of family pressure, to fulfill the duty of being a daughter but she ignored herself in the process and she thought that everyone suppressed her because she was a girl and she needed someone to save her. For her comfort she mistook her affection towards Aaron as love and kept that idea close to her for so many years just for the comfort. She was so used to thinking that Aaron will always wait and she can go back to him anytime that this idea became her comfort zone and a barrier between her and Jeremy.

Jeremy's affection can't reach to her because of this barrier. Now only time will tell that after this experiment of Aaron's will Rachel change or not.

Jeremy woke up next day to only find himself covered with a blanket and Rachel's room door still locked. He didn't said anything he was just sitting there staring blankly at the wall opposite to him. After a while he just got up and went to kitchen and without saying anything started cooking breakfast.

Aaron was hoping to find a message from Jeremy once he woke up this morning but there was no message, he thought of messaging him but one thing or other stopped him. He had an early consultation so he quickly had breakfast and went to hospital.

For Hayley as well this was just any other normal working day, she had smile on her face all day long because of the events of yesterday. In the evening they all decided to meet at cafe. It's been a while they all gathered together. Aaron picked up Hayley from work and when they reached the cafe they were last one to reach. Everyone was already there, Nora was finally able to attend as the fashion show ended and she was free for few days before starting on new project. They all get seated around the round table Hayley was sitting between Caleb and Aaron and they both keep feeding her things as she was getting too skinny in their opinion. It's weird that how anyone don't find any kind of problem with the bond Caleb, Hayley and Aaron has formed it seems like they have seen it before because Aaron also putting food in Ginny's plate as well and Keith was doing the same. Sometimes Hayley want to make all of them sit together and want to know about their past but together. It's not like she didn't know about their past together but it will be fun to make all of them sit together and reminisce old time.

All of them talking about random things and suddenly cafe door pushed opened rather loudly and entered Rachel.

Door was pushed open with such a force that it opened with a bang drawing everyone's attention towards the door. Rachel looked like she was in a fight, her hair was mess she was wearing pyjamas, home slippers and completely gone the air of the lady. She just barged in and stormed towards the group and grabbed Aaron's collar and made him standup. Everyone was too stunned to move let alone stop her and next thing all of them saw was Rachel slapping Aaron hard and uttering the words " HOW COULD YOU?"
