Beginning of everything

Third pov :-

Beautiful girl with long hair and milky white skin with brown eyes is standing on the banks of a beautiful lake,

It is still a little dark all around because there is still some time in the morning ,

The cold wind made the girl's long hair fly in the air but that girl unaffected by wind joined both her hands infront of lake ,

Like every year, this year too she has come to ask a gift from her grandma for new year,

" Grandmaa , Thank you for fulfilling my last year's wish you know maa papa finally agreed to go to Shimla for vacations " she said happily

Every year she makes a prayer for her family and tossed the coin into the water ,

she believes that by doing this, her grandmother fulfills her wish, which she loved so much.

Every year she makes a wish for her family and Love ones and tosses the coin in the lake ,

As usual, this year too she bounces the coin in the water with a bright smile on her face but instead of going into the pool, the coin goes towards the forest ,

Kavya run to hold that coin, but that coin continues to roll forward then suddenly it collides with a stone and stops ,

Kavya takes a sigh of relief and picks up the coin and starts to leave but suddenly she hears a strange sound by that she stops ,

she moves a little and sees a little injured puppy ,

she immediately moves towards it, but before she reach towards the puppy a woman pick up the puppy in her arms and starts caressing it ,

She stops and starts looking at the woman, who fondly kisses the puppy and orders the man "Bring water and first aid from the car" ,

The man brings water immediately and gives it to the woman ,

The woman feeds him water and then carefully wraps the ointment around his injury " take him to veterinarian clinic " she said and handover the puppy to the men ,

" Sorry to say mam , but we should not separate a puppy from her mother, her mother must be nearby, we should leave it to her, she will treat her child herself " he said to her with hesitation ,

" Sometimes it is also necessary for the child to be separated from her mother so that he learns something from himself in her life and realizes his mistakes ,once he will recover then leave it back here" she said and wipe her tears ,

After this, the man did not say anything and sat on the driver's seat and took the woman and puppy from there,

" perhaps that man was the woman's driver Because he wore black clothes that looked like a uniform " kavya said and starts coming back towards the pond ,

cold air is still going on but now the sun is completely raised in the sky and its brightness is all-around ,

Kavya wonders how kind and soft-hearted the women is who took care of the puppy but seems sad ,

She then prays to her grandmother to give the woman what she wants, then she happily toss the coin into the lake,

Suddenly she realizes that she is too late to go to jail " oh lord shiva ! How can i late today ?,

" Bye grandmaa I will meet you soon bye bye " She wave her hand at Lake and quickly moves fast towards her car,

Her car is very special for her because she buy this car with her own money which she earn from her assistant lawyer job ,

Kavya works as an assistant lawyer in a well known law firm in the city,

Till now she used to go to court just like an assistant lawyer but this case is the first case of her life which she will fight as lawyer hence, she feel excited and nervous ,

She has not told anything at home yet as she wants to give a surprise to her family ,

" I have to take the papers , case files from jail, So that I can present the case in the court as soon as possible because there is not much time left for court trial I have only one week because in next week there is final judgement by the court , " she said to herself and increase the speed of car,

Government decides to review unsolved cases pertaining to prisoners as a goodwill gesture on independence day ,

Kavya is going to fight the case of a man whom the government has decided to leave on Independence Day and along with some people,

This prisoner is that prisoners who were not a criminal by profession, but the situation forced him to become a criminal hence government decides to review their case one more time ,

One of these prisoners is a prisoner who has killed his own girlfriend,

And later confessed his crime, But no one has found the dead body of that girl till date so government decides to review his case once again ,

This criminal is none other than son of the world's biggest and well known businessman ram Singhania,

This prisoner is none other than Arjun Singhania, son of the country's biggest and well known businessman ram sighania ,

Who himself was a very succesful business man before coming to jail ,

No one want to say anything about arjun sighania because some people believe that he is related to the mafia's of Italy which are famous for their cruel behaviour,

And some people also believe that he is the king of mafia but at last no one knows the real reality of arjun singhania because people's are scared of him ,

Unknown to all these Kavya is going close to her destination hoping for new beautiful phase of her life but she did not know that she is not getting closer to her happiness but closer to hell Which will change his happy and beautiful life into living hell ,

Kavya pov :-

The biggest jail in the city is in front of my eyes , I look at it for a few moments and then move forward,

Although I have been in this jail a few times but today I have a different feeling as if something is going to change,

something is going to be different But I still have a big smile on of my lips ,

Due to the number of VIPs and well known criminals in this jail, that's why the mob is absolutely less there are only a few relatives and lawyers,

I went straight to the jailor's cabin to take some files of my case from them so that I can understand or study the case before the court trial,

" I'm advocate Kavya Sharma, I want to meet the jailer sir " I told a police constable standing there,

"You can go" he spoke to me and stood back in his place ,

" Come sit ,may I know what can I help you with? "He asked me staring awkwardly ,

" I'm advocate Kavya Sharma I come to take the case file of my client Arjun Sighania "I told him without sitting because I feel this man a little weird ,

Suddenly sweats came on his face and he stood up "No sir. Meaning you can't get Arjun Sighania's file" ,

" Excuse me " I looked at him with surprise, if I am not wrong, then he call the criminal sir but why ?

" I mean why are you wasting your time, he don't want to get out of jail " He told me while sitting back in his place with awkward smile ,

" I don't care what he wants, I have come only to do that, for which the Government has sent me here and I will also advise you that , you also do your work and give me all the files related to the case , I said looking at him angrily ,

"Beautiful girls like you shouldn't get so angry, you wait a little, I will send your files to you " he said lustfully while looking at me from top to bottom,

I starts coming out of the cabin in anger but then he said "If you want, you can meet your client till I send your files to you "

" Yes, it will be good anyway if I will meet him personally and then read his file then it will be easy for me to understand his psychology " I thought and then nodd him in yes ,

Then he call someone from outside through his brass table bell ,

" Take Madam to prisoner no .112 " the man stared at the jailer in astonishment,

But the jailer once again said him but this time little loudly, he nodde in " yes sir "

"I dont know why ? But I am a little scared to see all this, why are they so surprised on hearing his name who is this Arjun Singhania whom everyone scare of ? " This is what is going on my mind while going towards his lockup,

" I want to tell you something " suddenly the constable who walks with me said with fear."

"Yes, tell me what you want to say ? " I ask him while walking ,

"Madam ,My daughter is also of your age and wants to become a lawyer so you are also like my daughter so please leave this case Arjun Sighania is very dangerous man " his voice trembling while telling me ,

I was surprised to hear him but I told him without any fear ,

"thank you Uncle for your care but don't worry about me, I am not afraid of people like these, such people can only scare you but can't do anything and please call me kavya "

" But daughter , he don't want to come out from the jail " he said and stop walking with me ,

" Uncle don't you think It's wrong to give up without trying, since childhood I never give up so easily and according to me freedom is the birth right of every person & I will somehow get to know his dilemma & release him out.." I said him with smile ,

" May God bless you daughter and protect you " he said and starts moving towards his lockup,

while walking up the stairs he ask me that he is shocked when he know about it that that mr Mittal gives me this case because I was new and inexperienced and this case involve vips ,

" He is right even I am also surprise when he tell me that I will fight this case but I did not said anything to uncle and just listen his talking,

Then He talks about my last case where i worked as a assistant for jai sir he is one of the most famous lawyer in country ,

when he won the last case he gives me the whole credit that he could win the case because of my research and investigation on that case , he is gem of person infact he is one of my ideal

" Yes uncle he is my ideal " I tell him

" I told you once again , he sometimes gets violated so be careful with him don't consider this case as your first case"

" thank you so much uncle , thank you for being so kind I will be careful " I said with smile and he looks so tense but I ignore everything and look at the surrounding

While walking to his lockup I felt so strange that all the lockups are on the front side then why his lockup is in the corner and isolated from others

He stopped in front of a lock-up and look at me with a serious expression

"I know you don't like me to interrupt in your work but my daughter's age is same as your that's why I am worried about you so be very careful as he becomes so violent whenever someone tried to talk to him and his lockup is isolated than other because he is not human he is much more dangerous than a wild animal if you want I can show you How he mercilessly beat other prisoners when they tried to take his food "

I am little scared when he tell me about him and I felt sorry too here he consider me as her daughter and I am thinking stupid about him

" I am sorry sir I thought you judge me by experience but don't worry sir I will be extra careful "

I genuinely felt sorry but he smiles at me and patted my head lovingly

" it's ok daughter I can understand it's happens during initial days , I was same like you but with times it all becomes normal " I smile at him

Then he take out his phone from packet and show me the pictures of the prisoners who is beaten by him and I am shocked

Their whole body is filled with bruises and wounds I don't know why but Its a lie if I tell to myself that I am not frightened ,

I take a deep breath and starts motivating me come on kavya , don't worry and just try to focus on your work you can't give up so easily by seeing some pictures , he just told you to be extra cautious that's it, nothing more , just switch on your proffesional mode and go for it "

We have reached near his lockup sir ask constable to open the cell for me and left after patting my head lovingly

I smiled at both the constables as they are in their old age but in return they look at me with weird expression

" Is this police station or a ghost house , why everyone here gave me the feeling of ghost house "

I ignore everything and head towards the jail & a constable opens the lock for me to enter

I goes in and first thing I saw is darkness and only darkness

I came out instantly and take a deep breath, " wh...y why ....darknnnnesss everyyyywhere " I ask a Constable with shaking voice

" we tried so many times but every time he breaks the bulbs," they tell me arrogantly

I start thinking as I will not go without light for sure as I 'm scared of darkness since childhood but now how will I interact with him

Then idea came in my mind I tell them to bring candles then One of constable left to lit candles in lockup

Meanwhile I put papers in my bag after arranging them correctly

They came back after lit the Candles I thanked them and went in again

Now , lockup looks much better as compare to previously

I pray to god to make every thing right as it's my first ever interrogation with my client previously I have just done research for jai sir

I looked around me and saw a pitcher placed in a corner and a small chatai ( the mat ) is on a floor and he is lying on the chatai( the mat ) with his hand on his face

he is taller then me for sure as his legs were coming out of the blanket

I started moving to him so that I can wake him up i never felt that much scared in my whole life which I felt today ,

Its not the first time I am coming to interrogate prisoners but today I felt different may be because of that jailer who told me to take extra caution

I starts calling him so that he can wake up , " mr Singhania , mr Singhania i am your lawyer kavya " but he didn't move an inch,

I again called him and this time little loudly but again no response

" what's wrong with him is he deaf can't he hear that I am calling him since so long but he just won't get up "

I really don't want to touch him but I am already going out of time so I bent and move my face little closer to his

My heart really beat faster now but I motivate myself " don't worry kavya nothing will happen, you are strong just do your work fastly and get out of this place you can do it "

" I take a deep breath and touch his shoulder blade, but still he didn't wake up

" What to do now, he is human or Kumbh Karan?" ( known for his sleep in India)

I again collected all my confidence and this time, I shaking him so intensely

This time I called his name louder near his ear so that he can come from his sleep,

But what he did next shocked me so much he grabs my hand and drag me under him

He Make a fist to punch me , these all happened so quickly that I could not understand anything

In a reflex motion I covered my face with my both hands as a shield to protect myself from his punch and closed my eyes tightly due to fear

I can feel his heavy weight on me , I can feel his breaths on my face , he tightly clutching my legs to his so that I can't move

my heart beats like a marathon player and I am about to scream but not able to scream nor i am able to get up

Then I realized he put his big palm on my mouth so that I can't scream

I started struggling under him to remove his hand from my mouth but failed

I felt so angry never in my life someone touching or harrassing me like this and here I can't do anything for me I felt weak

Angrily I look at him in his eyes which clearly show so much anger and hatred

I am struggling and tried hard to get up but I just can't

I could only see his eyes because of low light which is screaming danger and only danger

I am tried to remove his hand from my mouth so that I can call someone for my help

But he is much stronger than me and he put his palm on my face so tightly that it's very difficult for me to scream and even difficult to take breaths

Suddenly I felt so suffocating and in no time darkness slowly consumed me.

I feels that he lifted his hand from my mouth

I had a severe headache as soon as I opened my eyes , I quickly closed my eyes back

I realised that I am in a hospital because I can smell of drugs

" I have heard that sir already told her so many time that don't go but the spirit of youth nowadays is so high during initial days of their jobs "I heard the slow voice of someone

" Yes you are right, now she will also say no to his case " someone reply

It is known from their conversation that they are policeman

" Obviously if he doesn't want to come out to jail nobody can't do anything "

" yes maybe he regrets his doing that's why he wanted to remain in jail "

"Yes or maybe he loves our jail food so much that's why he don't want to go out and starts laughing "

" Shhh sir is coming " they becomes silent after they saw their senior coming

"How is she?" " sir she is absolutely fine just conscious due to suffocation doctor told her that she will gain conscious any time "

" ok inform me whenever she will wake up I want her statement " they tell him ok and he left

I am awake but I don't want to open my eyes so I remain in bed with eyes closed

Arjun pov:-

No...sorry....don't go......No...bubble gum.....I scream in my sleep

I'm trying to stop her but again he hold his wrist and takes her away far away from me and immediately my eyes open

I stands up and takes a glass of water from the mud pot and drank water in gulps and sits in a corner

I talk to myself It's been two years and still, that night is so fresh in my memory that night which turns the famous busy tycoon arjun Singhania into criminal a murderer

From 2 years Every night I have been go through the same pain of loosing her , losing someone who is most important person of my life who is close to my heart still gives me terrible pain

I still feels the same pain which I felt two year ago and I wish I will always live with this pain all my life

Because it remind me of my mistake which I commit two years back hence, I deserve this pain.

I sat down and stars remembering my beautiful past with her and both police man looking at me they look emotional after hearing everything but I ignore everything and think about my past

" you will never change Arjun you again hit someone who just came for your help and this time you hit a girl " officer came and tell me

As always I ignore him completely as I am not intrested in his speech and get up to take water from mud pot ,

I'm about to drink water from the pot but he takes the glass from my hand and and breaks it

I fist my hand angrily but remain silent and sat in a corner again

He came to me angrily and holds me with my collar

" The law has tied my hands otherwise I will show you how to be disciplined, I don't know why the government even try to get out this type of criminals from jail now stop tell me why you hit her she came for your help "

I look at him and gave him blank expressions , " today you crossed all your limits , you hit a girl in my jail and I will never tolerate this type of behavior in my jail again what you do with her that she becomes unconcious "

Meanwhile one of the constable who came with him tell him " sir we forget to tell you that when we came inside we saw madam is unconcious and he is clutching her under him " his voice little trembled when he said last part

" What !Why didn't you tell me before? " After hearing this he becomes so angry and starts holding my coller more tightly

But i am just blankly thinking about something else

He starts punching me on my face and then kicks me again and again

But still I feels nothing , I still did not feel any pain , I tell him to beat me more and more

But hee stops after sometime when he is tired and pushed me to the corner

Blood ozooes out from my body but my wounds did not hurt me at all instead they give me satisfaction

" What we expect from a criminal like him if he kills her own fiancee then it's not difficult for her to kill some other girl " and he left after pushing me to the corner

His words act like a salt on my wounds ,

I did not feel the pain for once when he hit me , or I never felt pain whenever they beat me

I am try to properly sits in a corner and again thinks about yesterday when that lawyer comes to meet me

Past :-

I came back after at midnight after wrap up my work and as usual mom is waiting for me in dinning table

I put my briefcase on table and kissed her in cheeks

" mom how many times I told you that don't wait for me now a days I am so busy that's why I can't came on time please don't trouble yourself mom for me "

She instruct kaka to warm the food and meanwhile she arrange plate for me " Aaru go and freshnup meanwhile I will arrange food for you"

I look at her in awe how gracefully she ignore me " mom how gracefully you ignores me "

" I am learning from you son " and laughs

I left to freshen up and came back and sits on a table meanwhile mom serves me

" Seriously ! Mom don't wait for me it's not good for your health to wake this much long for me , I will have food in office or kaka will serve me "

She sits with me " ok I will not wake up for you from tomorrow but first you have to give me promise that you will say yes to get married with riya then she will wake for you and that day I will tention free "

I know this has been came " you already knew mom we were so busy in making our Carrier we can't marry so soon "

" son it's not soon You guys can make your Carrier's even after marriage also "

I know I will never win with my mother so I simply tell her " mom "

And she said " ok ok take your time " and I smile at her and after that we both have our food

I was resting my head on my mom's lap I know she is upset because of me but I am already discuss this matter to Riya

she directly deny me because for her carrier is her priority and I am happy with her decision but what should I told to mom

I don't want to tell her that riya is not ready to get married and can't see her upset too" mom I will talk to her "

And her face suddenly glow really son awahhhh I love you so much and give me head kiss I just want you to see settle down son with your wife and wanted to play with my grand children

"I knew you would say this after that"

she was always smiling, at me " Arjun! Should I make your favourite french toast because you ate very little food today "

"Mom at this time , i am not a kid anymore I have grown up and runs a multi-billionaire company on my own so stop considering me kid all the time and take care of yourself more "

Mom rolled eyes at me " Arjun I'm your mother you're not my mother so please stop giving me lecture your dad is already enough

" Yeah ! dad how is he ? today I just could'nt get time to speak to him when he is coming back from conference "

" He will be back day after tomorrow now you take rest you must be tired "

" Ok mom "

She smiles at me and patted my hairs slowly,

I feel so relaxed in my mom's embrace and in no time, sleep engulfs me

Past ends

I can feel some girl calling my name but I ignore her

And sleeps peacefully in my mother's embrace but then I realize someone pulled my mother from me and I am also pulled by someone

I tried to hold her hand but her hand slips from my hand
