chapter 50 : A book

' It's been 2 years! '

Crystelle excitedly run toward the student council room in hurried.

' Captain fairy orchid. '

Crystelle turn and instantly smile.

' Sir Altair. '

Altair chuckle and quickly walk beside Crystelle.

' Where are you heading to, lady Crystelle? '

Crystelle look at the front. ' The student council room, it's good that you're here, my vice president. I need your help too.

Altair grin and follow Crystelle obediently. ' Anything for my captain. '

Crystelle take a glance at him.

Altair, full name is Altair Grey la Siel, he's in the same age as me and, yes, he is actually a little brother of sister Selene. The first son of count Siel. soon to be my brother-in-law. He's rolled into the Evelyn academy as soon as Allen graduate last year and instantly become the new vice president of the student council for this year.

As for the title ' Captain fairy orchid', that they used to call me by that name now, it's a name that get bestowed by the queen as the captain of the academy squads, Crystelle squad was named as a 'Phoenix squad'. There actually had two squad of the academy though, it's 'Phoenix' and the other is a 'Nova squad'. It's a squad under Allen command as the captain before he's graduate from the academy last year. He's get bestowed by the queen as the ' Captain crimson blue '. As now, Muller Alford, a little brother of Mia was the current captain and get a name as ' Captain Novalies'.

Crystelle smile and look at Altair. ' Here your schedule for today. Let me know if there something wrong about it. '

Altair nodded and take the paper in grin.

' Well okay, but I call for you actually because..'

He suddenly stop talking and get near Crystelle.

' I wanted to know where's lady Sylvia is ..' shy him in whisper.

Crystelle chuckle and pat his head.

' Even you had a crush on her, Don't become a stalker, can you? ' mock Crystelle.

Altair grin and quickly run away from Crystelle.

' Opss! I can't help it! what should I do? ' tease Altair from afar. He doesn't want to get hit by Crystelle again.

Crystelle annoyed and glare at him.

' Make sure your works done before I check on it. I will be at Ember Library if someone were to call for me. ' shout Crystelle at him.

Altair make a okey signal with his finger. ' Copy that! '

He slowly start his walk toward the student council to done his work at there.

Crystelle slowly shake her head when she thought about his childish personality.

' Even though his face look so mature, he still act like a little boy. Such a cute guy. ' mumble Crystelle while walk toward the library.

' Whose a cute guy? me? ' ask a voice from beside Crystelle.

Crystelle suddenly shock and quickly get backward.

Hyde smirk beside her.

' What are you doing here? shouldn't you at my room now? ' ask Crystelle in frown.

Hyde turn his form into human.

' I'm got bored. Guess I will accompany you to the library together today. '

Crystelle sigh. ' Then, let's go. I need to do some research on my new task for tomorrow. we need to hurry.'

Hyde shrug and follow Crystelle in silent.

Arrived at the library, all the students look at her with an admire stare.

' The fairy orchid is here! ' whisper them in murmur.

Everyone got excited and stare at her from afar.

Hyde fake ignorance and glance at Crystelle.

' My lady sure is popular today too. ' tease Hyde.

Crystelle smile and walk toward the table on the corner of the library. The only place that get avoid at because someone dark presence get left in it's atmosphere after he leave to the west tower to be the new lead of the magician.

Crystelle sit at the table and put her thing on it.

' It's master Crystopher table. sure bring some memories, huh? ' said Hyde while cares for the table.

Crystelle smile and nodded . ' Sure it is. '

She look at the outside window beside her. Such a clear morning. it's bright and almost make Crystelle sleepy because of it.

Actually Crystopher had become the new leader of the west tower and become the imperial magician last year after his coming of age ceremony being held. He's get so much works at the west tower already so he had to graduate early from the academy in this early year.

As for Brother Cassius, he's going to get married with sister Selene at the end of this year and actually Crystopher.. guess what?

He's get engaged with the princess!, princess Larissa at the end of last year! even though he didn't talk much about it but I'm sure he's happy about it. Thus, for Sylvia, of course she had a broken heart until now, but I hope that sir Altair will cure it for her? I'm hope though.. I'm not sure if that guy take this matter seriously or not, so don't let your hope get to high, it might fall to the ground in anytime because of his childish and immature action toward Sylvia.

And there's so much rumor about Haley lately too. She's become a hairdresser and her salon was the most famous at the capital in only one week after it debuted! She's become the most greatest hairdresser in the capital and her salon will get open at the other countries too. Such a big success in her life.

The crown prince? He's had become more influence within the empire lately, so it's hard to let the title off from him, most of the influential family is in his side and he's become more stronger in the politics than before.

As for the first prince..

Crystelle suddenly let a hard sigh.

Hyde raise his eyebrow and look at her.

' You think about him again, Elle? '

Crystelle nodded and look at her book to get focused back.

Hyde place his head on the table.

' I'm sure he will send you a letter someday.. just wait for it, Elle. '

Crystelle sigh again and lean on her chair.

It's been one year since the last letter he send toward me. it's like he's disappears from the world without any trace.

' I hope so. He's promise me to get back in this year..'

If you guys wanted to know about Allen, yes, I'm still not reply for his confession yet. He's graduate last year and had become one of the holy knight in a patron under Cassius command. Thus, the emperor favor his skilled and create a new group of knight that serve the emperor in secret, the emperor shadow. It's an elite squad and known as the black knight of the Ophelia empire. He's become the leader and captain of the black knight in an early age but the amount or whose in the black knight is a secret of the imperial palace. Hyde suddenly get up from his seat.

' I'm bored, I will be under the tree at the garden. Please summon for me if there's some problems occur. '

Crystelle nodded understand and let him goes to leave her alone at the table.

She's focused on the book again.

Crystelle frown and look at the last shelve in the wall. it's kind of darkest than the place she had now.

Crystelle slowly get up from her seat and head toward the shelve in wondering.

When she's stand before the shelve suddenly there's a book that shine brightly in front of her eyes.

' What's this...? '

She raise the book and read the cover.

' A kingdom of Ru.. '

Crystelle tilt her head as she look at the title.

' It's not this is the kingdom that make Rigel still struggle to win the wars? the current war, right? why does this book exist in this library? our country is not in a good term so it's impossible to get this book in here. I need to ask the front counter. '

' Lady Soleil? ' ask the librarian toward Crystelle.

Crystelle turn and look at her. ' Yes? '

' We need to close the library now. ' inform the librarian suddenly.

Crystelle stunned and look at the window. ' It's dark..? '

' Excuse me but, what's time is it now? '

The librarian look at the clock on the wall.

' It's almost midnight, lady Soleil. '

Crystelle grunted.

' Anyway, what are you doing on this dark corner, lady Soleil? it's an abandon place in this library, It's rare to see people walk around here since there's nothing at here. '

Crystelle stunned and look at her surroundings. It's just a dark place within her. The shelve from earlier disappear without any trace.

' Doesn't here should have a shelve..? ' ask Crystelle in shock.

The librarian frown. ' Like I said, it's an abandon place in this library, there's shouldn't had any shelves here, my lady. '

Crystelle frown and nodded. ' Well, then I will take my leave now. Thank you. '

Crystelle walk toward the entrance of the library in dumbfounded.

' Lady Elle! finally you get out from the library, I've wait here for 3 hours because they didn't permit anyone to get in because it's late now. ' explain Hyde before her.

Crystelle blank.

' But you just said that you want to take a nap under the tree at the garden earlier.. '

Hyde frown. ' It's 8 hours ago, my lady. Are you sure you're alright? '

Crystelle shock. ' But.. it's still early in the morning before you left me..'

Crystelle suddenly look at the book on her hand.

' It's this book.. ' mumble Crystelle alone.

Hyde raise his eyebrow and look at the same sight as Crystelle.

' A book? where? ' ask Hyde in frown.

Crystelle tilt her head. ' This book. '

She shove the book on Hyde face to make him look at it more clear.

Hyde tilt his head in dumbfounded this time.

' I didn't see any book though. Are you trying to prank me, Elle? '

Crystelle frown. ' But, it's feel like you're the one to prank on me instead, Hyde. '

Crystelle look at the book in dumbfounded.

' It's there a magic on this book? Then, why I was the one that can see through it? ' thought Crystelle.

Hyde sigh when she just silent and pull Crystelle hand tightly.

' You must have been so tired, let's get a rest now, Elle. I will inform sir Altair about you. '

Crystelle silently follow Hyde without any questions.

The most questions on her mind right now..

What's happening that make the time passed so quick?

What's wrong with this book?

And why the shelve earlier disappear without any trace?

Crystelle frown as she goes in her room.

Hyde bow and quickly leave her room in exhausted after a long waited before.

Crystelle look at the book from her bed.

' The kingdom of Ru.. is there something I need to know perhaps? '
