chapter 33 : A monster

' I.. can't see.. ' shock Crystelle.

Rigel smile gently toward her.

' I can't see anything about your future! ' scared Crystelle then quickly moved her hand away from Rigel.

Rigel still smile at her.

Crystelle shake her head in scared.

' You.. you don't have any future..? ' mumble Crystelle in tremble.

Rigel quickly hold her hand back.

' Elly.. ' call him in a soft voice.

Crystelle shock and moved away from him.

' Don't touch me!.. you're.. you're going to died at the border! .. ' shout Crystelle. she's look at her hand that trembling from shocked.

Rigel frown.

' Elly..' call Rigel.

Crystelle still look at her trembling hand in scared.

Rigel sigh.

' Elly.. please hear me first. ' firm Rigel.

Crystelle still in her own world. she bend her head a little until Rigel can't see her face anymore.

' Don't.. don't go.. don't go.. ' mumble her in a low voice.

Rigel stunned and quickly pull her into his embrace.

Crystelle shock and blank.

' Ri , Rigel? '.

Rigel smile after she's get calm a little.

Rigel let go of her and cares for her face.

' It's okay, Elly. it's not because of you. '

Crystelle frown.

' What did you mean? '

Rigel chuckle while hold Crystelle tremble hand and kiss it.

Crystelle blink in dumbfounded.

Rigel smile.

' Did you forgot that I am a monster just like you, Elly? ' ask Rigel suddenly.

Crystelle get stunned and nodded.

' Bu, but, I didn't know what your power is.. so, so. I just.. get scared. '

Rigel smile and cares for her face gently.

' I can absorb mana.' honest Rigel.

Crystelle shock and stared at his face in doubted.

' If anyone ever tried to harm me with magic, my body can absorb it all without leave any single trace behind. ' proud Rigel.

Crystelle frown.

' Then, that's why you choose to go to the border than any others simple ways to gain your title back? ' ask Crystelle disbelief.

Rigel smile and nodded.

Crystelle frown again.

' Then, why did you get called as a monster when your power is just absorbing a mana? doesn't that is a good thing? ' wonder Crystelle.

Rigel chuckle and turn his face to look at the window.

' It's because, when I was a little baby, an assassin comes to harm me at midnight.'

Crystelle tilt her head doesn't understand at all.

Rigel chuckle and touch her hand.

' On that midnight, all the knights had gathered in my chamber when they heard a maid shouted in my chamber after she's look at me in shock. When they were arrived at the door, they all get stunned with my condition that time, even my mother who was scared herself got stunned too...'

' Even the late empress Stella? Did you get hurt? no! are you bleeding perhaps? ' guess Crystelle suddenly and cut the story.

Rigel chuckle.

' Hear me first, Elly..' advice Rigel.

Crystelle quickly shut herself and nodded.

Rigel continue his story back.

' They all got so shocked when they've look at me. There's so many blood on my chamber like you've said, Elly. But it's not actually my own blood, it's from the assassin itself. That time, I was lay in my crib without having any single wounds on me and I even innocently laugh at them that time. My mother quickly hold me in tremble and hug me in dejected. From that day, every maids and knights that comes in my chamber that midnight got sentenced to death by the emperor. it's all to keep the secret of royal family within our palaces. But even so, we can't shut a mouth even we've tried to, the rumors have started to spread all over the palace and capital that I am a monster because the emperor suddenly sentenced them to death because of me. From that day, I've become a monster for them eventually. Only the emperor and my mother know the truth about it and keep it as a secret until now. '

Crystelle shock. ' Then, is it okay to tell me about this? it's a royal secret. '

Rigel smile and look at her gently.

' You're my fiance, Elly. You have the right to know the truth about me. '

Crystelle blushed and quickly cover her face in embarrassment.

Rigel chuckle while hold Crystelle hand to stop her embarrassment action.

' Elly, let me see your face.. ' seduce Rigel.

Crystelle blushed even more and turn her face away from him.

' No! you can't ! ' shy Crystelle.

Rigel chuckle and hold Crystelle hand tightly.

Crystelle tilt her head and face him.

' Elly.. I'm promise that I will comes back here alive for you. Only for you. Well, I need to know the connection after your sentences though. ' tease Rigel suddenly after he's got so damn serious before.

Crystelle stunned and chuckle. ' You've really must to.'

Rigel smile at her with his stunning face.

Crystelle look at him and sigh. ' this stunning creature..'

She's suddenly bend her head into Rigel chest without talk.

Rigel got stunned and flustered.

' El, Elly? ' nervous him again.

' Sigh. Thank goodness...' mumble Crystelle in a low voice.

Rigel stunned and disbelief from what he's heard from Crystelle own mouth.

Crystelle still in the same position.

Rigel suddenly smile and gently cares for her head.

Rigel slowly embrace her and pat her back gently.

' Ehem. I need to go back now. ' said Crystelle.

They currently standing in front of her family carriage.

Rigel smile while hold her hand and kiss it.

' Until tomorrow, my dear fiance. '

Rigel shown his seducing smile.

Crystelle blushes.

' Ve, very well, prince Rigel. ' flustered her.

Mia brightly smile when she's look at them.

' Finally, they had a good atmosphere between them again. And It the day before tomorrow's banquet at that! ' happy Mia.

' Then, I will get going now. '

Crystelle get in the carriage with Mia.

She's look at outside.

Rigel was happily waved at her with a stunning smile on his face.

Crystelle chuckle with his actions.

' it's good that it's become as usual back, right, my lady? '

Smile Mia toward her.

Crystelle nodded agreed with her.

' it's really good..' mumble Crystelle alone while look at Rigel that's slowly get far away from her.

Then, the day of the banquet had arrived in a blink.

' Oh my goodness! ' shout Mia while stand beside Crystelle bed.

' Everyone had already get ready for the banquet and you, here on the bed was sound asleep without any concerns. Oh my goodness, my lady! ' nag Mia.

Crystelle frown.

' Banquet? what banquet? ' ask Crystelle sleepy but then she's slowly get up from the bed in forces.

Mia frown in disbelief.

' It's the first prince banquet, my lady! ' shout Mia in exhausted with her usual action.

Crystelle stunned and slowly comes to her sense.

' Gyah! that banquet!? wh, what to do?? why don't you wake me up earlier!?, get, get me ready now, Mia! ,' anxious Crystelle.

Mia sigh.

' I've already wake you up earlier. Well, never mind that, my lady. I knew this would happen, so I was already get ready for it. '

Mia slowly clap her hand and as usual.

All the maid that serve Crystelle had gathered before her with their hands full with her things for the banquet.

Crystelle shock and gulp.

' I'll never get adapt into this usual situation, I am still got scared everytime they've become like this. They look like a predator surrounding their prey, and that's prey is no doubt is me, myself!. ' cries Crystelle.

The maid start their work with a burning sensation on their eyes.

- The bath time -

They bathe her with a roses sense.

' Should we add some more of this rose petals? ' ask Lily.

They all nodded. ' let's do that. '

Crystelle sigh.

- The beauty therapy time -

They sweep the beauty mud on her face.

' Please get a nap for 2 hours, my lady. '

Crystelle sigh.

After 2 hours has past, they do face massage on her face for beauty purpose too.

Crystelle sigh again.

- The ' get the clothes ready ' time -

Yawn.

Crystelle cover mouth in exhausted.

' My lady! please sit still, I need to put on make up on your face. ' said Lune firmly.

' Oh my god! we didn't have enough time more! let's get this quickly. ' flustered Haley while do Crystelle hair.

Crystelle make an annoy face.

' You guys were the one to make it late with all of this unnecessary preparations. ' sigh Crystelle again.

' Okay! we are done! ' clap Mia.

Crystelle stunned when she's look at herself in the mirror.

' Who's this beautiful girl before me right now? is this really my own real face? ' mumble Crystelle in disbelief.

Mia and all the maids chuckle.

' We have done our best, my lady. to make you become the most angelic girl on today's banquet! ' excited them together.

Crystelle chuckle and look at her face on the mirror back.

They made her wearing a beautiful pale pink gown with so many red crystal flowers scattered on it. on the chest and waist fulfill with a shinning bright pink crystal . As for Crystelle hair, Haley do an adorable updo with fringes and braided headband and she's used a bright red crystal hair bow as the last touch on Crystelle hair.

Crystelle satisfied with it and slowly head toward the door.

All the knights that guard outside her room, got fascinated by Crystelle when she step out from her room as usual.

Crystelle innocently smile at them when their eyes meet.

Thump!

' Oh my! ' shock Crystelle.

One of the guard get nosebleeds and fainted on the ground!. the other still get speechless and melt from Crystelle sweet smile attack.

Mia chuckle with their excessive actions toward Crystelle.

' My lady, we must to get going now, or not, we will be late to meet the first prince. ' whisper Mia into Crystelle ear.

Crystelle nodded and continue her walk again.

' Is that fainted knight earlier really will be fine? shouldn't we must to immediately call a doctor for him? ' concern Crystelle in dumbfounded.

Mia smile. ' It's okay, my lady. He's will be fine and come to his senses in no time. ' confident Mia while accompany Crystelle toward the main room.

Crystelle nodded although she's doesn't understand at all.

' Elly.. ' call Rigel when she's get in the main room.

He had waited for her for a very long time.

Rigel gently hold Crystelle hand and kiss it.

' You look so stunning than usual, my dear fiance. ' compliment Rigel with a gentle smile on his face.

Crystelle blush.

' Thank you for the compliment, prince Rigel. ' calm Crystelle.

Rigel nodded his head as a signal.

Mia and the other maids realize it and permit themselves to leave Crystelle with Rigel alone.

' Then, let's go now. ' said Rigel while slowly escort Crystelle toward their carriage.

Crystelle nodded and walk with him.

' Seriously! you know how long I've got prepared only for tonight banquet, Rigel? it's for 9 hours! when I get out from my room, I've just realized it's already get this late! . Hah.. I am really so tired already. ' complain Crystelle in the carriage.

Rigel chuckle.

' Then get a rest, Elly. ' concern Rigel.

He's pull Crystelle hand to make her sit beside him.

' You can lay your head on me while you're asleep, Elly. ' said Rigel while slowly pull Crystelle head and place it on his shoulder.

Crystelle stunned and freeze.

' You, your shoulder will get numb then, Rigel. it's alright. ' flustered Crystelle while try to moved her head away.

Rigel quickly place her head on her shoulder back.

' it's okay. just sleep, Elly. I will wake you up when we've arrived at the main hall. ' said Rigel with a gentle voice.

Crystelle lost in her thoughts.

' Well, it will be our last day to stay by each other sides like this. I should just enjoy this moment just for today. ' thought Crystelle and slowly close her eyes and sleep.

Rigel look at Crystelle.

' She's so sound asleep, must be really tired for her just to got prepared for this banquet. '

Gently Rigel cares for her hair and kiss it for a long time.

' It's look like I am already addicted to you, my dear Crystelle. ' smile Rigel.

Crystelle frown uncomfortable in her sleep and turn her face close to Rigel to make herself comfortable.

Rigel shock and freeze instantly.

He's can't wake her up now with his sudden movement.

Rigel becomes nervous.

' Ba thump. Ba thump. Ba thump. '

' Seriously Elly? you're still trying to seduce me even though you've sound asleep?. How can I manage to hold myself any longer than this? '

Rigel stare at Crystelle face intensely and get more closer to it.

' Chu '

Rigel kissed her on her red little lips.

' It's feels the same as before. it's really soft. ' mumble Rigel while touch Crystelle lips.

' I love you, Elly. ' whisper him and gently pull Crystelle into his embrace.

It's a really beautiful night, and he will never forget this moment he had with Crystelle forever.
