Safety

Is a relative freedom from danger, risk, or threat of harm, injury, or loss to personal and/ or property, whether caused deliberately or by accident.

OPERATORS SAFETY CODE

1. Always adhere to the rules of the highway code, keep to the left of all roads, aisles, observe all speed limits,road signs, etc. Within the working environment.

2. Never operate any form lift truck unless qualified and authorised to do so.

3. Never drive on a public highway unless licensed to do so, and the truck is taxed & insured.

4. Always drive to a speed which is safe to condition and loads. Never drive to a speed to keep up with the pressure of work.

5. Before moving off from a standstill, always check that it is clear to do so.

6. Take care and drive slowly and be prepared to stop on wet and icy surface.
