Ryu Won felt the disturbance in the balance immediately, the Soulstone pulsing against his chest with a rhythm that spoke of danger. "There is a new player in our midst," he said, his gaze scanning the darkened alleys. "One who moves with the shadows as if they were extensions of his will."

Eun Ae's hand went to her sword, the blade a sliver of moonlight in the darkness. "Then we shall meet him blade to shadow," she declared, her voice a calm promise of the battle to come.

Kairos, ever enigmatic, nodded in agreement. "The threads of time weave a complex pattern around this one," they said. "He is not here by chance. He seeks something... or someone."

The guardians set out to uncover the mystery of Azaroth's arrival, their search taking them through the city's darkest corners and into the heart of the underworld. It was there, in an abandoned warehouse, that they finally confronted the Shadow Reaver.

With a flick of his wrist, Azaroth summoned the Umbral Chains, the shadowy links snaking towards the guardians with a life of their own. Eun Ae charged, her sword cutting through the shadows as if they were made of silk. Kairos moved with them, their Chronal Phasing allowing them to slip through Azaroth's defenses and strike at his core.
