Chapter ７５

But today is destined to be an atypical day. We were just about to burn when Calvin's cell phone rang.

"Damn!" Calvin looked so angry he nearly smashed the phone right then and there, but when he saw the person's name on the caller ID, he eventually picked up. It doesn't take long for him to hang up the phone. He turned around, sat up, and started to get dressed, "Bonder's call, the perp is dead."

"What, dead?" I sat up in shock, "What do you want me to do?" If this gets exposed by the media, it's definitely going to be a scandal.

"Don't worry," Calvin saw my nervousness, kissed my forehead, and comforted, "The man died at the police station. There was nothing abnormal about it. He drank water and died. It won't affect me."

"That's good!" I breathed a sigh of relief and reached out to wipe the cold sweat from my head.

"I'm going out now, stay here, Warren's right outside so do not worry." Calvin held my face tightly, giving me a hard kiss and admonishing me.
