"And with the way you ran away from me that day...", Seth trailed off as his mind drifted to that particular day and how he had felt when Ruby left him standing there.
"So, in my mind, all I really wanted was to have you to myself, Ruby... then I learned about you losing your kingdom", Seth said. "That is what fueled my request. I apologize if it seemed somehow to you, Princess", Seth said.
Prince Seth didn't feel like he had a choice.
He knew... Seth knew that if he would have told Ruby about how he felt, she would have shut him up without giving it a second thought... or him, a second glance.
What Seth did was to make sure that Ruby stayed with him.
"Hmm", Ruby said.

"I have been called a demon prince... and I think that has got a wide range of bad things, right?", Seth said... with a little smirk on his handsome, dangerous face.
