Ava, who didn't bring any clothes with her, came out wrapped in a bath towel. She quickly washed and hung up the clothes she had taken off while Franklin was still out for the meeting. After that, she hid in the room and didn't dare to come out.

When Franklin entered the room to change his shoes, he only saw the suitcase placed at the entrance. He glanced around the room but did not see Ava. He wondered where she had gone.

Feeling tired, he sat on the fabric sofa, closed his eyes and rubbed his eyebrows with one hand to relax his brows that were tense due to fatigue.

Hearing a sound coming from the living room outside, Ava lifted the tightly covered quilt. Was he back?

She wrapped herself in the towel, pressed the edge, walked to the door and opened it a crack to confirm if it was Franklin. Her eyes accidentally met his own starry eyes, and she was so scared that she slammed the door shut and locked it.
