The Sad End To The New Semester
After lectures, Ava walked to an empty place and checked the missed call records on her phone.
A completely unfamiliar number called ten times in a row. Although she didn't know who was calling her, she knew It must be something important. So, she called back without thinking too much about it.
The next lecture was Account Management, but Ava was not there when the lecturer entered. He looked around and asked in a deep voice. "Where's Ava..."
Since he started teaching in this college, no scholarship student had ever fared well with missed lectures. He knew Ava was a diligent student, but this could affect her scholarship.
"I saw her attending classes this morning. Maybe she doesn't like this course very much." A tall girl said deliberately. If there was a chance to take advantage of someone's misfortune, she would certainly not pass on it.
