The Beginning Of A New Semester

Time flew by, and before they knew it, the two-month vacation was over and the new semester was here.

At the gate of the Midwood College, students dressed in different attires, moved up and down the premises, one after another.

Enemies always meet on a narrow road they said. As soon as Ava stepped through the massive school gate, she met Laura Yates and her cohorts.

She wanted to avoid them, but a sharp-eyed freshman, loyal to Laura, saw her and stepped forward to block her way. "The commencement ceremony is about to begin. Are you not attending, Miss Harley?"

"Are you not going to leave me alone, Miss Non-of-your-business?" Ava asked back with a cold expression.

"Oh, getting feisty, are we? It was just a two months break, and your temper has gone this bad?" Ava, who used to be bullied by others, now dares to challenge her.
