Lightning In The Dark Clouds
At noon, the sky was covered with dark clouds, accompanied by flashes of lightning, thunder, and heavy rain. The raindrops as big as bean seeds hit the windows, making a loud noise.
When Ava's fingertips touched the glass, the cold feeling penetrated deep into her heart, plunging her into a reminisce.
"Sister…" A clear voice sounded in the room, breaking the reverie.
Ava put away the sadness in her heart, turned around and walked to the bedside, smiling and said, "Martin, you're awake. I made some chicken soup for you. Why don't you come and try it."
Ava scooped out a bowl of nourishing chicken soup from the thermos box and fed it to Martin's mouth.
