A Dangerous Horizon
Ava put down her wine glass, feeling a burning fire inside her body. At the same time, it was as if a form of coolness was seeping into her. Knowing what that coolness was, she shed tears of embarrassment, wetting her jade-like cheeks.
She wanted to stand up, then suddenly, there was a loud banging sound inside her head. She she seemed to see a ray of bright light before falling into complete darkness.
