A Bound Encounter [II]
"Hey Martin, I have to go out for something now. Make sure you stay inside and lock the door, okay?" Ava, wearing a lace hollow chiffon dress, said and walked out of the apartment.
"Don't worry, I know what to do." Martin nodded obediently, and watched his sister followed the man before closing the door and locking it.
The neighborhood was relatively quiet at 9 o'clock, with few pedestrians passing by.
As soon as Ava walked downstairs, she saw a black Rolls-Royce parked on the side of the road and hesitated.
"Ms. Harley, please come this way." Gareth, who was standing by the side door of the car, opened the door and extended his hand to invite her in.
As the car door opened, a figure sitting inside the car came into her sight of view. He was sitting sideways, so part of face was covered by his wispy hair, so she couldn't see the expression on his face.
