Intense fight
The mutant was just before Tank . It lifted its legs to crush him but before it could take any action an arrow was shot to its legs .
Tank knew he couldn't defeat it with raw power that's why he had set his teammates at different positions with other weapons . The mutant was having strength thus Tank decided to go for a long range attack .Using missiles or bombs were risky as there were civilians in the area thus they had few options left either use sniper or bow .
The arrow couldn't tear its legs but was able cut through to it's muscles . The mutant put down it's legs and took out the arrow . Another arrow was shot to it's back, then another to its shoulder , thigh , neck and chest . The mutant began feeling dizzy due to the effect of tranquilize used in the arrows . It fell down and soon enough its whole body was covered in arrow shots . Tank got up and gave signal to stop the shooting . He walked up to the fallen mutant .
Till this time most of the people have evacuated .There were more casually due to crowd stampede rather than deaths due to mutant killing .
The mutant was lying flat on the ground , his eyes were becoming heavy and he was going in a state of sleep . He saw a flash back " After his accident he went to the best of the best hospitals to get treated but most of them refused due to his lack of money and influence . He had also tried his luck in FISHKERS hospital . He was sent back with humiliation as he couldn't pay his treatment fees . He tried for years but all in vain."
His blood was boiling as he remembered the humiliation and the rejection he had faced in his past.He got up despite of the numerous arrows stock to his body . Tank took a few steps backward and signaled his comrades to stay alert .
The mutant roared "aaarrgh" .The whole stadium began vibrating with that noise . But Tank was still in his position with a unwavering determination to defeat the mutant. The mutant stepped forward speaking " you guys have no idea what you have done to me , due to your pathetic greed for money you destroyed my life. All you care about is wealth and power ."
He landed a punch to Tank . Tank blocked it with his left hand . The armour got a crack on his left hand . It was as if the monsters power had doubled up . The mutant again punched him to right and then to stomach . With every hit his armour was breaking . But Tank didn't moved back . With his hands up he stood still and took all the attacks . He spoke " I can understand your pain , I was a rugby player and I had to left it for a knee injury . But its not the people to be blamed it's the situation and you have to get back every time when the situation knock you down .
I can't let you take any more lives nor will you commit any more sin."
After saying this Tank hold an arrow stuck to the mutants neck and pushed it deep through it's neck . The mutants punches stopped and it fell down on ground . It spit a lot of blood from its mouth . Before the mutant died it gave a smile and spoke in a low voice " I'm glad that I will get free from this body and I'm lucky enough to get freedom through the hands of a fellow sportsman ".
Tanks face filled with sadness as the mutant closed its eyes . Despite wearing the armour he had taken severe damage from the fight . He had multiple fracture .His teammates arrived and they loaded him in the vehicle and they left for the hospital.
The stadium was the centre and it connected to all the colonies ,hospital, market palace and maintainance department etc. Caesar told kraken to block all the gates but he couldn't as people will get stuck at particular places ,moreover he had no idea where the mutants are . One down twenty mutants left .
Caesar reached the hospital , and went straight to the room where his daughter was admitted . After seeing her safe he went out and commanded the soldiers to form a perimeter around the hospital .He again contacted to all the fishkers and told them to return to the base immediately .
Zet and Nova were on their way to the hospital . Nova had used bandages to stop the bleeding but despite her relentless effort the bandage got soaked with blood .
Nova told Zet " I have 10 more minutes , we have to stich the wound before that or else my heart will stop ". Zet replied don't you worry doc " it will take me 5 min more to reach to the hospital . As Zet was driving Nova was feeling drowsy due to lack of blood in her body . At this moment it was important to keep her active so that her heart would constantly pump the remaining blood.
Zet asked her questions in order to keep her awake " Hey , hey doc why did you choosed to become a doctor anyway ? . I mean there are almost nill female doctors in our department ." She didn't answered .
Zet asked again " Hey doc you in there ". Nova replied in a low voice " I'm fine . " She took a pause and spoke up again " I was a biologist and was in this organizations for experiments regarding growing up crops under ground . As you know its quite difficult to go out to plant trees or to make a path for sunlight . I along with some other were researching on this. One year ago a disaster happened a lot of people were injured and they needed immediate medical attention . So me and my team got engaged to help them . But it ended up badly one of the person was infected with the virus . The virus was suppose to die when exposed to UV but had somehow survived . It killed all of my teammates and patients . I was the only one who survived . After that I studied and researched day and night about human body and viruses . Due to in-depth knowledge the FISHKERS medical association accepted me as a Doctor and I was still practicing when they handed your case over to me "
Zet :-"well thank goodness I met you or else I would have ended up dead "
Nova :- " your will to survive played an important role in it "
They reached the hospital, Zet could sense the presence of huge amount of soldiers in front gate so he parked the car at back of the hospital .Zet took the backdoor and entered to the hospital unnoticed he went straight to the doctor and put Nova on a stretcher .
Outside Caesar and his men were waiting outside for any activity by the mutants . Kraken was keeping a view of all the places through the CCTV . He was trying to coordinate and help the fishkers with his limited information as much as possible .
Right now Kraken was the only person who was able to view most of the places .
Zet was waiting outside the room as a doctor was stitching the wounds of Nova . Zet was walking to and fro in front of the room when he heard multiple vibration from different places, one of them was coming from one part of the hospital the other was from outside and another was coming from very far distances . The worse part was the aura that was being emitted by these sources of vibration .They were filled with hatred and revenge . Whatever it was Zet knew it wasn't good. Zet rushed to the place immediately to see what it is ! He got stunned after seeing three huge creatures advancing in the hospital corridors . Zet had no idea about the mutants but he knew for sure that if he want to save the people in the hospital he has to stop them, then and there .
Out side the hospitals the soldiers were backing off as they saw three huge monsters coming towards them . With their every the ground was vibrating . Caesar recognized them in an instance . He called Kraken to get information of the situation but Kraken was dumbfound .He could hardly speak anything due to the severity of the situation .
Cesar:-'Hey kraken tell me the situation ,I have encountered 3 mutants in this area "
Kraken spoke in a low voice " Not three sir there are 9 of them ,as I can see in the footage , 3 inside the hospital , 3 outside the hospital and three just at the huge gate that connects the hospital and the stadium and other places "
It was like the worst nightmare for Kraken . According to his analysis these Mutants can't appear from nowhere . Moreover they are in groups of three .It means someone is organising them and has set them up for that purpose . There was only one possibility by which they could have reached there unnoticed that is by using the surface . All of them are resistance to the virus they could roam around freely in the upper atmosphere , and in that case they can enter in the department from anywhere .Worst case scenario, they would attack the people living on the surface .
But they hadn't .That means someone has planned all this .If someone is organising them then he must have a goal and they have to know it as soon as possible .
Zet was standing in the hospital corridors looking at the monster and analyzing their strengths . The corridor was narrow . It was quite difficult to move in that place . Compared to them Zets strength was still low . His advantage was his speed but it won't help much in that narrow space .
Zet thought ' I have to drive them out to the nearby hall in order to reduce casualty and gain an advantage '. Zet didn't had much time he had to engage in combat with them . For now the good thing was due to the narrow area only one mutant could attack him at once from one side .Zet advanced towards one of the mutants . The mutant looked down towards him and swung his hand casually thinking him to be a normal human…
