"You needn't be surprised, White Sorcerer. It is indeed I who am the strongest here. For those who underestimate me, step forward now."
The young man was named Karius Silva. The Silva family was a noble lineage known for producing formidable warriors since the first King of this continent.
"Hoho, it seems you are indeed talented, young one. Not only because of the blood that flows in you, but also due to the gifts the world has bestowed upon you. Hoho..."
"I sense that someone has underestimated me just now," Karius said, his sharp gaze fixed on Eizan.
Eizan, feeling the intensity of Karius's stare, broke into a sweat, astonished by Karius's sensitivity.
"Hey, Zayn..." Eizan whispered.
"It seems I felt what you did just now. Isn't it strange that such a young child possesses such immense energy?" Zayn replied quietly, his lips trembling.
"So, they were the ones who underestimated me," Karius thought to himself.
Soon after, Karius left the Elemental Awakening Ceremony. It was not just Zayn and Eizan who felt the powerful aura emanating from the child; the entire village did as well.
Above, someone was also watching Karius. After he departed, this figure too left the scene.
"Hmmmm, it seems something intriguing will happen in the coming era. Hoho..." the White Sorcerer said, stroking his long beard.
The ceremony ended, and the townsfolk began to disperse.
Meanwhile...
Eizan and Zayn stood frozen and sweating, still feeling the deadly aura directed at them.
Sophia, seeing her friends as if they were statues, looked puzzled.
"Hey... Are you guys okay?" Sophia asked.
"Sophia, you'll understand once you see what we just felt," Eizan said.
"Hmmm?" Sophia looked confused.
"Never mind. Let's leave this place," Zayn said, walking ahead of them.
The trio left the Elemental Awakening Ceremony and began discussing the party planned for that night.
"Hey, do you remember we're having a big party tonight?" Sophia asked, her face glowing with anticipation.
"Of course, I haven't forgotten. I would have if my mother hadn't planned it," Eizan said.
"I'm more looking forward to the day we're crowned, like today, than to tonight's party," Zayn said, thinking about Karius.
"Yeah, I agree. I'm more concerned about the day we'll be crowned and which Element will choose us," Eizan said, contemplating their future.
"But before that, shouldn't we practice? There are still about two years before we get our first Element at the ceremony. So, after the party tonight, I want to train with you both before that day arrives," Sophia said enthusiastically.
"Alright, from today we'll form a team for practice. I'll prepare the necessary equipment," Eizan said, excited about the future.
"Until that day, we will become very strong together," Zayn said, extending his hand.
Their friends joined in, forging an unbreakable bond that day.
"You've never changed, always so arrogant and dismissive of others."
A mysterious voice addressed Karius, whose face was obscured by a black cloth covering him from head to toe.
"They were the ones who underestimated me first. Is it wrong for me to act like this towards them?" Karius shouted at the mysterious figure.
Smack!!!
A harsh blow landed squarely on Karius's face.
"Watch your tone. You're not even worthy to speak to me," the figure said.
Karius lay weakly on the floor, unable to respond.
"Don't return until you're truly worthy of bearing the Silva name. You are merely a failure in the Silva family. It's truly pathetic."
Flames enveloped the mysterious man, and he vanished from Karius's sight.
Karius was enraged by the man's words, remembering the child from the Coronation Ceremony. He felt a deep grudge towards him.
"That child... I will teach him a lesson!" Karius roared with anger, his aura intensifying as he repeatedly swore vengeance.
"That child..."
"I will... I will definitely kill..."
"That child...!!!"
On the other side...
"My ears feel so hot, as if someone is repeatedly calling my name," Eizan said, touching his warm ears.
"Come on, that's just an old myth. Why do you still believe in it?" Zayn replied.
"Because it's a way to honor the people of the past," Eizan said with a grin.
"You're such a strange person," Zayn teased.
"What did you just say?" Eizan asked, his temper flaring.
In the midst of their argument, Sophia intervened.
"Hey, can't you two help me carry these apples and stop fighting for a moment?" Sophia said, struggling with a bucket full of apples.
"Hey, you look perfect carrying that bucket of apples, Sophia," Eizan teased.
"What did you just say?!!!"
Eizan's mother, Lizbeth, approached them.
"Enough with the fighting. Help Sophia carry the remaining buckets of apples from the back of the house," Lizbeth said, directing the boys.
"Yes, Mother," Eizan said, immediately running to the back.
"Alright..." Zayn followed Eizan.
"Sophia, you need to be more patient with them. They always fight like cats and dogs, never getting along," Lizbeth said, patting Sophia's shoulder.
"Huff, maybe I was born with this patience. Perhaps it's fate that brought me to them," Sophia said.
"Ahahaha, you're so cute, Sophia," Lizbeth said, laughing softly at the little princess's complaint.
Crash!!
Bang!!
Loud noises came from the back of the house.
"What's that noise?" Sophia asked.
"It seems we need to check it out," Lizbeth and Sophia hurried to the back.
When they arrived, they saw Eizan and Zayn fighting. Lizbeth saw both boys with bruised faces from their brawl.
"You're not giving up, huh? I was the one who reached for that small bucket first, you fool," Zayn said angrily, grabbing Eizan's collar.
"You're the idiot. I touched the bucket first, yet you're acting like it's yours," Eizan retorted, pulling Zayn's collar.
"TAKE THIS!!!" They shouted in unison, trading blows.
Bang!!!
They collapsed to the floor after taking hits from both sides.
"Looks like we're tied again, Eizan," Zayn said, breathing heavily while lying on the floor.
"That makes the score 100-100. It's a tie again," Eizan said, also lying on the floor, exhausted.
Lizbeth and Sophia rushed over. Lizbeth immediately used her healing magic on them.
Their injuries began to heal as Lizbeth's magic took effect.
"You two always fight over trivial things. Can't you make peace for just one day?" Lizbeth asked with concern.
"No, Mom... It's always about a man's pride," Zayn said.
"One day, I will defeat you, Zayn. Just wait," Eizan said confidently.
"Try if you can, you fool," Zayn retorted.
Lizbeth could only shake her head at the boys' behavior. She reinforced her mana to accelerate the healing process.
In just 10 seconds, the wounds on Eizan and Zayn vanished, and they were able to stand up again.
Not long after they stood...
Bang!!!!
A hard slap landed on their heads.
Sophia vented her frustration by hitting them both hard, hoping to make them more mature.
"Can't you two act more mature? How long will you continue to act like this? It's really annoying," Sophia said angrily.
"Oh, it seems the little princess is lecturing us like an adult," Eizan teased.
"You're right. Someone must have hit puberty today," Zayn added, mocking Sophia.
They both laughed heartily, while Sophia fumed at their teasing.
Lizbeth smiled at the antics of her three children.
A few minutes later...
They arrived at the village hall, which was bustling with people.
Tables were arranged in the center of the hall to create a sense of closeness.
The tables were filled with delicious food and alcoholic beverages, including beer.
Fireworks were also lined up, ready to be lit at the end of the party...
