Chapter 38

Adrian pov :

I walked in the bank where i saw the three beauties bickering with each other. I just walked close to them and they didn't seem to care about me at all.

I guess i think they don't see me as a threat. I thought how should i do this. An idea popped up. I awakened my sharingan without transforming and slowly manipulated senjutsu and suddenly Poison ivy turned towards me.

It seems she can feel the nature chakra from me. I just looked at her and waved at her and said in a polite tone " Hello there pretty ladies. Would you spare some time for this poor gentleman? "

(AN: I hope this doesn't get cringe)

Now all of them looked towards me. Harley Queen was the first to speak. She said " Who might you be pretty face. Haven't seen you around the town. "

" Ohh i am new. So you couldn't have seen me. But it is my pleasure to meet you. Please call me Raiden. " i said to her and moved forward my right hand for her gesturing for a handshake.

Poison ivy wanted to stop Harley but Harley being Harley she shook my hand and said " Ain't you a bit bold , pretty boy. Nobody tried to shook my hand in years."

She grinned and spit the gum she was chewing. Then suddenly she took my hand and pushed me towards her. She couldn't really push me but i let it happen.

Her face came close to me and she said

" Let's give you a reward for your boldness. " She placed a some kind of chip on my back and ran away from me with her comical laugh.

The chip began blipping *toot* *toot* *toot*. I just watched her as she moved away and the chip which i assumed was a bomb of some kind. But i didn't care.

Honesty i am pretty sure just the telekinetic armour around me can protect me from it. I just stood there and watched towards Harley Quinn.

Then suddenly *powang* instead of a explosion there was few rainbow coloured confetti came out of it.

" Ha ha, well surprise. Did i shock you? Ha tell me, tell me. " Harley asked me.

" Well you did. I thought you would blow me up but it seems you were just joking. So you got me. " I said looking at the lady clown.

It actually did shocked me. I guess this world's Harley Quinn is a little bit tame. But i need to know more about her.

" Well since you gave me a gift, how about a gift from me. " i said to Harley.

" No way, i love gifts. What are you gonna give me?" she said with an excited voice.

" Ohh i forgot my gift. It's not here with me now. We can go to my home if you want it. " i replied with a smile.

" No problem. Let's go to your home. I love gifts. " she said without any hesitation.

" Harley, what are you doing? We need to go now. He is clearly lying ." Poison ivy said.

Harley looked at me and said " Is it true? Are you lying? "

" Of course not. Why would i lie to such a cool person. Besides i can pinky promise you. "

" Ok fine. Pinky promise. But i can't go now. I need to help my friends. " she said and tried to run away but suddenly an arrow came flying towards her head.

She dodged it and fell on her butt. I looked and saw Artemis with others coming here. Couldn't they wait longer? I looked at Artemis who seemed angry for some reason. I guess she is jealous.

I just sighed and looked at the trio in front of me who seemed to be ready for a fight. " Oouchy. That wasn't very nice. " Harley said.

Artemis said " Well that's what you get for running away. " She dashed forward to kick Harley but Catwoman came forward and stooped her. She said " Aren't you getting ahead of yourself? "

Seeing Catwoman came forward Robin and Superboy came to Artemis's rescue. But before they could approach her, some vines wrapped around them. And Poison ivy came forward.

Now slowly Aqualad along with the rest came forward too. Megan and Kid Flash was freeing them from the vines. And Aqualad faced Catwoman.

But Harley Quinn came forward and from her waist she threw a grenade towards the vines. And Kid Flash using his speed catched the grenade but as soon as he touched it, it released a green gas.

And he passed out. So stupid. He is the fastest and yet he was the first one to fall. At least if it released smoke you don't need to inhale it.

And soon everything was chaos. It was a full fledged battle. I don't get it. If it was me from before i would have cheered the heroes. But now they seem so useless.

They call them a team but half of them are not backing each other. Even Megan and Superboy should be enough beat Harley and Catwoman easily.

But what am i seeing in front of my eyes is truly comical. Excluding me there are 6 people and they losing against 3.

Also for some reason nobody is paying any attention to me. As if i am nonexistent.

I just sighed and looked at my failing comrades. Let's help them a little bit. I sped up and in a moment i arrived in front of Catwoman. She was shocked.

Seeing her like this i held her silky waist and looked at her eyes and said " What a naughty kitty you are? " That is last thing she heard and karate chopped her neck. And she went into dreamland.

" Nooo. " Poison ivy looked at me enraged and she threw her vines at me. I just let it happen. The vines slowly crept up my body binding my limbs and torso.

She came towards me and said " You will pay for what you did. "

" Chill girl. She just fainted. And you are looking at me like i did some unforgettable crime. "

She looked more enraged and came close to me and said " You think you are so smart huh. Let's if you are smart enough for this. "

She came close to me and holding my face she planted a kiss. As she did that i felt her soft velvety lips. But suddenly some sort of energy came from her lips and i tasted a little grassy flavour.

And as for the poison from her Death kiss i just absorbed it. I mean seriously Majin buu can literary eat and absorb anything. So what's a little poison going to do.

She broke from the kiss and looked at me. She looked shocked and said " How? Why aren't you poisoned? "

" Well if you call that sweet sensation poison then count me in. I could eat all of your poison."

Without giving her a moment i used my own Wood release and wooden vines came from the earth and started to bind her.

She again looked shocked and said " How is this possible? How can you control them? Why won't they listen to me? "

I actually was trying to figure it out myself too. It seems my control can even disrupt her own control. It seems my Wood release is superior to her plant control.

But i wouldn't be so overconfident. Because Poison Ivy's true power is better than mine. She can resonate with earth itself. But now she is not at that level yet.

I looked at her and said " So many questions but i am sorry i won't be answering them now. Maybe over a cup of coffee but not now. "

I also karate chopped her and she passed out. And my team is enough competent to at least capture Harley. Thus my first official mission was completed.
