Conqueror of Magic

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Read on mobile device for best experience. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Having lost his parents at a young age and not having access to a home since it had burned to the ground after a sudden outburst of flames, Arthur was taken in by the council of sorcery. Not because they had felt sympathy for him but simply due to the fact that even though his parents had been burned to ashes, Arthur did not even have a single scratch on his body. Now intrigued by the boy, the council of sorcery sent their most obedient servant; the one they call “the inspector” to relocate Arthur into a prestigious school so that his strength could bloom so that they could have a powerful ally in the future. Even so, the council of sorcery commanded that the school treated him like trash. This was because Arthur’s parents were quite powerful in their prime and as such were sought after by the council of sorcery. Even though it was an amazing offer for Arthur’s parents, they refused which invoked the long lasting rage of the council of sorcery. In a world full of factions that try to sway the tides of power to their own side, Arthur must now learn how to grow strong so he could finally find the person who had killed his parents and get revenge for the years of torment that the council of sorcery had put him through. Although he just might get quite a bit more than he bargained for. —————————————————————————————————————————— Note: This story will be quite long since there are a lot of things that need to be covered in the story. Sadly though, I’m fueled by compliments so the more people that enjoy this novel, the more I can write. Schedule plan for this novel is 2 chapters a day, 1000+ words each or if does quite well, it will be moved up to 3 chapters a day (same number of words each). —————————————————————————————————————————— Hope you enjoy this novel though, happy reading.

"But how? Are you saying that a clone of yours is this powerful? B-But you took out the 3 commanders out of 10 commanders which are subject to the rule of the council of sorcery. If you defeat me, that'll mean that a single clone of you can fight at least 3 of them and maybe even 4 since the first one you fought was the second strongest one," said Henry with a panic.

"Well, ya I guess," said Yosel before seemingly creating a blade out of nothingness even though he didn't even use a spell.

"What was that? How are you able to do that?" Henry asked.

"Oh this? This is a simple spell. It's just that I'm using a technique called speechless casting. Using it, I don't need to waste my energy casting a spell by using my voice and instead I can simply do it using my thoughts alone," said Yosel which left Henry speechless.

"So is this how it's going to end?" Henry asked to which Yosel got irritated and instantly sliced off Henry's head which killed him.

"You talk too much. Specially with all that extra monologue," said Yosel before snapping his fingers which put out all the damage on the island and removed all the dead bodies on the ground before lastly restoring the island to what it used to be. Seeing as his home was back, Yosel began to walk towards it to which he was stopped by the sound of multiple footsteps crashing onto the ground of the island.

"Greetings Yosel," said a man that had blonde hair that parted to his side. He wore a white suit and also had a red cape with white fur attached to the ends of the cape. The cape itself was attached to the white suit using large golden extravagant pins which shined in the sun.

"Oh, hi there Archibald," said Yosel with a smile on his face. Behind Archibald were a whole group of individuals which were similar to the people who had come to try to recruit Arthur into their armies. Those were the generals from the different countries of the world.

"Come on, not you too," said Yosel to which Archibald let out a sigh before telling the people behind him to stay back for a second.

"Why are you doing this? I mean it makes no sense to me at all. You were the most respected person on this planet. So tell me Yosel, what brought upon this sudden change?" Archibald asked to which Yosel seemed exhausted.

"Why does that matter? It's not like that would change your mind about what you came here to do," said Yosel to which Archibald almost laughed.

"To be honest, out of everyone who's come after you so far, I'm the most likely to help you out. Seriously, just tell me what happened and we can work through this," said Archibald as he created a bench for the two of the to sit at and talk. This was also done with speechless magic which went to show the level of skill that both Yosel and Archibald possessed.

"We're done waiting around! Let us attack him already! He's a wanted criminal! If you choose to not allow us to attack him for any longer, we'll have reason to suspect that you are an ally of the enemy and as such you will become a target as well!" one of the generals said to which Archibald simply let out a sigh of disappointment.

"Tier 14 Spell: Overlord Dragon"

Once Archibald had cast this spell, the skies split open as a large black dragon with purple eyes descended from a spacial circle in the sky before slowly coming down towards the island. Just seeing the dragon alone caused anyone who stood in its way to fall to their knees.

"If any of you decide to make the wise decision to go against me, you'll have to fight this dragon first and trust me, this is far from the strongest spell I have at my disposal," said Archibald which angered the generals however they weren't going to be stupid enough to pick a fight with a dragon that was half the size of the island.

"Okay, now that we don't have to worry about being bothered by them, tell me what's wrong," said Archibald.

"Well, you see, it's the boy that I brought in about 17 years ago. The council said that he may have some hidden potential since he seemingly survived a burning house which had killed his parents. As such, I placed him inside the best school in this world but asked the school to not give him any extra privileges. Turns out they took it the wrong way and tortured him for his whole life. This caused him to attain mastery of nearly all the spells from tier 1 to 10 and might have even mastered until tier 20 spells if he had actually know about their existence. The only thing that had fuelled him was pure anger and vengeance. Even so, his stamina was rather low so I began to train him and he had a talent for improving exponentially fast. You see, in just a couple months, he was able to take down the principal of that school. Even though it was because he was fuelled by rage, he still managed to kill him. You realize how impressive that is right? He even was selected by the general of Juno to become his personal student. You know if he were to actually train properly, he would easily surpass us and become the greatest threat or asset that the council of sorcery will ever face or have," said Yosel which made Archibald understand what Yosel was saying.

"I see, you you're betting everything that this kid will become as powerful as you say. Truly interesting. I would love to join you on that bet. To be honest, being your shadow as the substitute inspector has helped me see from your eyes a lot. What do you say Yosel? How about we team up just like old times?" Archibald asked with a smile.
