----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Read on mobile device for best experience. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Having lost his parents at a young age and not having access to a home since it had burned to the ground after a sudden outburst of flames, Arthur was taken in by the council of sorcery. Not because they had felt sympathy for him but simply due to the fact that even though his parents had been burned to ashes, Arthur did not even have a single scratch on his body. Now intrigued by the boy, the council of sorcery sent their most obedient servant; the one they call “the inspector” to relocate Arthur into a prestigious school so that his strength could bloom so that they could have a powerful ally in the future. Even so, the council of sorcery commanded that the school treated him like trash. This was because Arthur’s parents were quite powerful in their prime and as such were sought after by the council of sorcery. Even though it was an amazing offer for Arthur’s parents, they refused which invoked the long lasting rage of the council of sorcery. In a world full of factions that try to sway the tides of power to their own side, Arthur must now learn how to grow strong so he could finally find the person who had killed his parents and get revenge for the years of torment that the council of sorcery had put him through. Although he just might get quite a bit more than he bargained for. —————————————————————————————————————————— Note: This story will be quite long since there are a lot of things that need to be covered in the story. Sadly though, I’m fueled by compliments so the more people that enjoy this novel, the more I can write. Schedule plan for this novel is 2 chapters a day, 1000+ words each or if does quite well, it will be moved up to 3 chapters a day (same number of words each). —————————————————————————————————————————— Hope you enjoy this novel though, happy reading.
Hearing what his teacher said, Arthur let out a sigh, however it wasn't a sigh of acceptance. He was tired of getting treated like a dog. As such, Arthur reached into his pocket and pulled out the phone that the inspector had given him. Arthur already knew how to make use of the phone so he decided to call the inspector.
Arthur didn't need to do anything as just thinking of calling the inspector would activate the spell controlled steel brick. It only took a single ring on the phone for the inspector to pick up.
"Hey, can you hear me?" Arthur asked to which the inspector replied that he could in fact hear him.
"Look I'm sorry but there are 2 things I can do from here on out. Either I go back to my room and live my days out in peace or I destroy the school and run away. There's no way that I can deal with these people for an entire week," said Arthur to which the inspector took a deep breath before replying.
"I see, so you're having trouble with the teacher I presume. Well, it's a bit disappointing, I had believed that you were much more mature since you were a lot stronger than others your age and even those older than you but I guess the only thing that changed about you was your strength," the inspector spoke.
"Anyway, I expected something like this to happen, just look out of the right window in your class in about 10 seconds. After you see something, break the window and try to fight the monster that is summoned, just trust me on this," said the inspector before ending the call between him and Arthur.
All while Arthur was having his conversation with the inspector, his teacher continued to yell across the room as he commanded Arthur to come forth so that he could discipline him. However since Arthur didn't seem to hear a single word, the teacher instead chose to start walking towards Arthur with killing intent. As the seconds passed, Arthur continued to look out of the window that the inspector instructed.

At the last second, right as Arthur's teacher's fist was close to Arthur's face, a giant monster which looked to be at least a hundred feet tall came out of no where and let out a devastating roar.
Just as Arthur saw the monster, it was as if life was placed in his heart that made him filled with vigour to fight the monster. Just before his teacher's fist could make contact with his face, Arthur flew away by using the pressure under his feet to spring himself through the window as he broke the glass and landed right in front of the monster.
"Let's see what you've got," said Arthur with a grin as he wanted to release all his pent up frustration. It was like he was going to explode with pure excitement.
"Tier 1 Spell: Fire"
"Tier 10 Spell: Tier Augmentation"
"Augmented Tier 10 Spell: White Fire"
By first using a tier one spell which was very basic then augmenting its tier by using a tier 10 spell, Arthur was able to change the tier 1 spell into a tier 10 class spell with was able to surround the entire monster in white flame. Well… almost surround it as right before the flames could make contact with the monster which was a zombified dinosaur of sorts which had hundreds of slashes and wounds on it, Arthur as well as his flames were teleported somewhere else.
In just a flash, Arthur went from being inside the field of his school to a dark cave which he only knew because of his flames.
"What is this place?" Arthur asked himself as he deactivated his spell with a snap off his finger and began to look around in the dark.
"How interesting; so it seems that you have acquired permanent night vision as well. You really are a talented child," said the inspector's voice before the inspector snapped his fingers and the two of them where taken into a large library that had shelves of books which seemed to touch the heavens.
"Tier 8 spell, teleportation I presume?" Arthur asked to which the inspector let out a slight smirk before snapping his fingers once again which teleported the two of them to a cafe which had a couple people all zoned out and in their own world.
"That's right, it's quite surprising how you know so much yet for all your life, everyone has treated you like worthless trash. Why is that?" the inspector asked to which Arthur smiled before making a serious face once again as it was the first time he had been complimented.
"To be honest, I don't know. It's just since the day I was at that school, everyone seemed to hate me for no reason. I mean I tried to get along with everyone there as much as possible but they never seemed to care. They did whatever they could to make my life miserable. It didn't matter if they were fully grown adults or children my age. If they could make my life worse, they did," Arthur said as he tried to make the inspector feel sympathy for him.
"That's really interesting you know. I have to say that you are capable of making up quite good stories. Well, not technically, although what you said was true, it's not the whole truth. You always had the power to surpass everyone you knew. You were always aware of this yet you chose to stay down with the rest all so that you could not stand out more than you did. You tried this until you turned 13 which was when you began to change. You started staying home and started studying magic seriously and took advantage of your special talent. Photographic memory," said the inspector with a smile which seemed to have been a real shock to Arthur as he didn't understand how the inspector knew that much.
"Now you must be wondering how I know all this information. Don't fret, I'll tell you how I know all of this," the inspector said with a grin before continuing to speak.
"Tier 11 spell, mind reading."
