Sorry about the late chapter this time, I won't lie

I was busy reading a few books that I forgot to set the update in time.

Marianne then looked at both Eunalia and Flora in the distance while frowning from the pain she is feeling.

"Hey! Can you both help me?!" Marianne shouted seriously without showing any signs of being hurt except for the frown that can be seen as a sign of something else.

She then dropped the heavy machine gun first before removing the two carbine from her back as she started putting less weight on her wounded left thigh.

It was really fortunate that she needed to squat and have her legs wide apart when firing the heavy machine gun while standing because if not, then the bullet would have hit her thigh bones and then things would have gone from bad to worse.

Eunalia and Flora heard Marianne's shout so they hurriedly came over and that's when they saw the said wound.

They both gasped in shock as they started to worry about Marianne.

Cornelia was left on the boat so she did not see the wound yet as she was told to just wait in there by her mother.

"You still okay?" Flora asked Marianne worriedly as she bent down a little to look closer on the wound.

The wound was being covered by the military pants that Marianne is wearing though, that's why she did not get a clear enough look.

But base from the bleeding, both Eunalia and Flora realize how serious this injury is, even though it was not a grave injury.

"Wait here! Let me get the first aid kit in the both. Also, Flora. Can you look inside the outpost if there is something better to treat Marianne's wound?" Eunalia said worriedly and seriously just after checking the wound closer like Flora.

"There is some antiseptic in there. A few bandages, some alcohol but I didn't notice any coagulant though." Marianne said with a grunt from pain and a hiss just after.

"Okay, wait here and don't move any more." Flora said as she started coming towards the outpost.

"You should sit down on the ground so that you could put pressure onto your wound to stop most of the bleeding." Eunalia said calmly with a bit of worry as she also started hurrying towards the speed boat.

Marianne just followed what Eunalia said and sat down as she used her hand to block some of the bleeding on her wounded thigh.

She hiss again from the pain as she did so.

She then look around as she emptied her mind to recuperate but still avoided sleeping even though she is really quite exhausted now in both mind and body.

'Even though I am a knight of round member before, I had not gone to any mission that let me be in extreme danger.

In fact, I had not gotten any out of the country missions at all.

Now that I think about it, I was promoted to a knights of round because of my local achievements like being the youngest knight so far and also I was quite strong.

I did not become the top student when I was schooling though.

I was really not academic. What I excel at is physical activities.

I was at the top of the elite school in terms of that.' Marianne thought as she sighed while reminiscing her life.

The Marianne looked at Cornelia's direction to check as she saw in her peripheral vision that Eunalia is already on the boat and is now taking the things she needed.

Marianne saw Cornelia looking at her with big starry eyes as she held her moms clothes so she waved at her.

Cornelia waved back excitedly.

"Mom, why isn't Aunt Marianne coming here yet?" Cornelia asked curiously.

"Sigh, your Aunt Marianne got wounded earlier. So now, mom will help cure her, alright? Just behave here wait for us. Don't move around okay?

You can use you binoculars to look at the surroundings if you want." Eunalia explained to Cornelia as she reminded her to behave.

"Okay~." Cornelia answered with a pout before asking with concern. "Will Aunt Marianne be fine?"

"Of course! Your Aunt Marianne is really strong you know~!" Eunalia answered back as she finish taking everything she needed and started going back towards Marianne's position.

Flora got out of the outpost with some first aid kits too.

Marianne became a bit paler than usual already because of the blood lost that's why Eunalia moved hurriedly to administer first aid and to stop the bleeding while Flora stood guard by their side after picking up one of the carbines that Marianne dropped on the ground.

"You had not gotten dizzy, right?" Eunalia asked Marianne seriously with a slight worry to check if she already feels some symptoms of excessive blood lost.

"No, you do not need to be too concerned. I am quite strong, don't you know that already?" Marianne said jokingly as she rolled her eyes from their over reaction.

"You sure?" Flora asked with concern too.

"Yes, I am really fine. Don't you know that you would loose more blood than this when you give birth?" Marianne said to Flora before gazing at Eunalia to ask: "You have given birth to one kid before too so you should have been used to this amount of blood right?"

"Hey! I am just worried alright! If you don't want me to be worried then I won't! Hmph!" Eunalia answered back loudly with a pout.

"Hahaha! I was just teasing you! Come on! Let's get out of here already!

Even though Alister should be making the rest of the enemies busy right now that they would not be able to spare some manpower to catch us, we should still go now just to be safe and be on the cautious side of things." Marianne said relaxedly with a slight smile.

Then Marianne started standing up on her own which she could do but with a bit of difficulty as she is moving carefully so that her wound would not be aggravated unnecessarily.

"Hey, careful there. You are not only injured, you are also quite fatigued right now, remember?" Flora said in surprise as she hurriedly supported Marianne.
