My former geass let's me know if people lied to me or if anyone lies within the range my geass have." VV said with a softer but still arrogant tone.

While they are continuing their conversation, Alister is still thinking about why he can still use geass.

'Wait! VV said He can tell if someone lied. I thought it was quite suspicious how he got to know of Charles lying to him in the original code geass canon timeline.

I thought he just investigated, spied or something on Charles and Marianne before.

Now I think he felt that Charles lied to him, so he got suspicious and that made him investigate the truth.

This might also be why CC is really attractive and some people, like Mao, even get's so obsessed with her in the code geass canon.

I think thy retained some power of their geass. They just don't know how to use it themselves without the geass itself.

I said before that I managed to train my geass until the special eye effects weren't coming out.

But in truth, I just discovered it when I tried to look at my own reflection in the water.

I was also not able to bring it back so I just let it be.

So this is the fucking reason! Hahaha! I really am a genius!'

Is exactly what Alister thought at this short moment using the power of his 'former' geass that apparently, he didn't really lose.

"Damn woman! Give me some respect! Your disrespecting me by not telling yours while I already told mine!" VV said furiously while shouting.

"I don't want to~! What are going to do about it? Hehehe..." CC said while she enjoy bullying VV.

Specially since he is so short and looks like a kid, it makes her want to make him cry.

Even more after suffering VV's prickliness and arrogance.

Charles has been silent for a long while now, he even stopped sipping tea.

While Marianne is still trying to make heads with all the the information she received just now.

Everyone took a few moments to be silent while thinking on their own about the new facts that was revealed.

What they can get from it and what changes will it make to their plan.

"So, anyway. Now that I joined you guys. I want to know, what is your goal?" Alister said seriously after the few moments he had to think about and recheck his plans.

"A world without lies" Charles and VV said at the same time with confidence and conviction.

"My wish." CC said after thinking for a few seconds on what to say.

Marianne thought for a while too then said "Hmm... I don't really hav a goal. But what you guys want to do seems to be quite fun, so I am just going to go along with you guys."

'This Marianne seems to not have bought into Charles's and VV's none sense of a goal like killing the gods and making the world of dreams yet.' Thought Alister but he paused for a bit then continued thinking.

'Now that I think about it. Marianne's geass let's her possess someone else. I don't know exactly what she really want inside her.

But it is mostly likely along the lines of living as someone else or having a second chance at life.'

"How about you mister Alister? What is your goal?" Charles finally started speaking again! He said this with an inquiring look on his face.

"Me? My goal has long been set. It has not change. It will probably not, for a really long time." Alister said with a bit of edge, theatrics and dramatics just to act cool and mysterious.

Everyone just waited silently with abated breaths while Alister just sipped some tea with a determined look on his face.

"My goal is... knowledge! Learning and experiencing new things! That's my pursuit!

Always has been! Always will be!" Alister said with conviction and confidence with some tinge of insanity and obsession.

His pupils were dark and it has some kind of illusory whirlpool in it, his sclera is also slightly bloodshot.

"That's all?" VV asked confused after expecting something grand and amazing when seeing all those edginess that Alister had shown them.

'The fuck was that! Being so dramatic and theatrical when it was only this! I am so fucking disappointed that my day is ruined!' is what he is thinking at the moment while twitching one of his brows from feeling infuriated.

"What? My goal is very grand you know! Knowledge is everything! Knowledge is wealth!" Alister said, trying to make his point come across everyone.

While everyone just stared at him with a dull look on their faces.

"Hey! Don't belittle my goal! If it wasn't for my goal, the very first knightmare frame wouldn't have come out now!" Alister trying to defend himself and trying to elevate his goal so that he could continue to look cool.

"Really? I think it would just be made later though. That's what you said before." Marianne said with a questioning look on her face.

"Hey! I was just trying to down play my help at that time!" Alister replied in defense.

"What is it that was quite famous in social media right now? Right!

Press X for Doubt!" CC said while having her hand on her chin in a thinking position.

"We-well! You can also think knightmare frame or mecha in general as one of my pursuits now. And this one is very important right now. RIGHT?" Alister said with no confidence.

"At least this goal is good for our plans." Charles said while trying to give Alister some way out.

Everyone else except Charles and Alister nodded at that statement.
