aiya... Sorry for not being able to update last night. I was too sleepy and tired that I even forgot about updating altogether last night.

I've been doing overtime on work for two weeks now and I think it may continue for some time.

It's Ber months already after all.

"Bad news, the available medical technology for the public, even the luxurious and experimental ones will not be able to cure your mother, and the effect of the drug is about to pass, which will make your mother restless due to severe drug dependence, if not taken care off immediately, she might have a seizure or something."

Then Naoto did a dogeza again while Kallen just kneeled because she is holding her mother right now.

"Please Zero! I know you have a way! Please save our mother! Please!" Naoto plead repeatedly while Zero tried to get him to stand up again but to no avail.

Even Kallen kneeled stubbornly.

Unfortunately for Lelouch, he has a bit of a soft heart because of the deviation in growth and experience from the original.

*sigh

A sigh was heard from Zero.

"Okay, I'll try something." Zero said before taking out the communication device given to him by his mother.

Of course, he did not directly make a call in front of Naoto and Kallen because even if he favors this brother and sister a bit, specially Kallen, they aren't that close yet to be trusted wholeheartedly by him.

He hid in a one-person restroom that is for his use only because it was made soundproof and there isn't any surveillance there before calmly taking off his mask and then making a call which was picked up by his mother in just one ring.

"Hello, son?" Marianne said as a small holographic image of her was shown in front of Lelouch. "What's the matter?"

"Well, mom... You said to me before that I should just make a call if I needed some help so..." Lelouch started with some hesitation.

"So?" Marianne urged.

"Sigh... My future ace pilot subordinate asked me for help with something." Lelouch said before he started telling Marianne the whole story from his point of view.

"Hmmm... Such a severe case of drug overdose and the expected drug dependency." Marianne said with a grim tone as she did feel a bit sad for what happened to this fellow mother like her, who only wanted her children to be safe. "I can't do anything personally but your Uncle AA can certainly do something about it. Wait for a few moments, I'll just notify him. He'll be here soon."

Lelouch nodded and then waited.

Marianne did something in the background before idling as she waited too.

Just a few seconds and AA finally arrived.

"Alright, boy. I already checked your situation with Veda so I will just tell you directly.

It can be done but the patient has to be here.

So I will send you the instructions on how I will take the patient or...

Do you want to come here yourself?" AA said directly without waiting for the other two people to say anything. "Right! The patient seems to be needing treatment immediately, erhmmm...

It's better to just go directly now I guess.

I guess I will just send a VTOL(quinjet) directly.

Find an open area without people the vehicle will arrive shortly so you better go fast."

Then AA directly left after he finished speaking.

"Alright, little Lulu, just go now. Don't worry too much about other things, bring those two siblings along. We can take care of the secrecy easily enough anyway." Marianne said without waiting for Lelouch to refute or say anything at all then just directly cut off the call also not waiting for a response from Lelouch.

Lelouch had his mouth open because he was just about to say something.

He is quite worried about deep secrets getting revealed nonchalantly, or maybe, it was only himself who thought that it was a big secret.

'Nah, I think, it was just Mom and Uncle AA being very confident with their countermeasures.' Lelouch thought as he wore his mask again and came upon the two.

He said the current arrangements and then moved with everyone to another backup car that had always been kept in this place for emergencies.

In just less than an hour, they are already on their way toward AA's location.

The quinjet is being controlled by Veda so there is no pilot or any other person in the vehicle which greatly shocked the brother and sister but they did not bother saying anything and just felt like they finally have hope of making their mother return to normal and be safe.

Naoto had a deeper thought though.

'It seems that we made the right decision about coming under Zero's wing.

Just this high-tech vehicle is clearly showing the huge resources that Zero has in hand.

Even if he does not own this thing himself, at least he has a good connection to the owner.' Naoto thought inwardly before he stopped by shaking his head because he still have to worry about his mother.

It took another less than an hour for the quinjet to arrive at its destination, the hidden base.

AA and Marianne are already waiting for them, a few meters out of the place the vehicle landed with a big cylindrical thing with wheels beside them.

Lelouch who is still wearing a mask got down the vehicle first before the two siblings followed with their mother in tow.

"Quick, the effects of the drug should be gone for a while now and the expected seizure is about to happen." AA said as he walked to them quickly.

Specifically, towards Mrs. Kozuki.

Then AA took out something from his pocket and directly jabbed the thing into Mrs. Kozuki's neck without hesitation.

He did this not only for the thing he said but also to not let the two siblings react and do drama or something, they might even stop him from doing what he has to do because of being too worried about their mother.

This sudden happening of course greatly shocked the two and they were also quickly horrified when they saw AA jab something into the neck of their mother with their consent.
