"Your suspicion is right m'lady. This genius is good at playing the piano too. Do you want to hear a performance?" I asked in a smug and teasing manner.

"I don't believe it! You can't be good at many things! Your what? Only 26 years old right now!" She said loudly in a very doubtful and unbelieving manner.

"Alright! I shall play one music so you could believe in my genius! You wouldn't be able to doubt my competence after this." I said in a slightly serious but amused manner.

Then I played the most memorable one that I heard from my previous life. The music played in 'your lie in April ' anime, when the female lead is undergoing operation

She got dazed by my amazing and bedazzling performance.

"How is it, m'lady?" I said in a very smug and teasing manner.

"It's good." she answered absent mindedly.

"Just good?" I asked in a teasing tone.

she got herself back and said "Tsk! Your great! You happy now?!" while faking her frustration when she visibly is really amazed.

"As I said before m'lady, I am good at doing many things~." I said in a smug way then chuckling at the end.

"Now I am really curious at what other things you are good at." she said in a suggestive and joking manner while raising an eyebrow.

"Oh ho ho ho... You're playing with fire now m'lady." I said in my own suggestive way.

"Really? I don't think it is me who is going to get burned though." she said in a meaningful tone.

"I'd really want to do a demonstration but it seems...

We have to go for the meeting now m'lady." I said, teasing her.

I stood up and gestured for us to go now, by the door.

"Tsk. Coward." she said in a slightly annoyed and teasing tone.

Oh, don't worry m'lady. I am just playing hard to get.

I will really plow you hard later when we get into action. I will make you scream and moan loudly, that's a promised.

Is what I thought but in reality, I just smiled at her meaningfully.

There are many things that happened in this more than a month.

I got really close with Lady Marianne. I think we became friends and a bit more.

I say a bit more because I think she wouldn't mind doing it with me when the right moment comes.

Hehe...

Now, let's talk about what we are really here for.

The mech development!

We are really getting closer at making an official version of the knightmare frame!

We already replaced the proportional arm for a longer one for more balance, power, reach, and utility.

This longer arms made the knightmare frame proto type look like Ganymede already.

We made use of the material I 'accidentally' discovered.

The proto type now has four limbs, the two addition are lower limbs of course.

Our proto type is already humanoid in shape with a square main body.

We also put the factsphere in the head area.

The cockpit was put in the back like a back pack because being only four to five meters tall made the knightmare frame not have enough space in the torso.

It is semi outside and inside the knightmare frame.

Of course the sakuradite reactor core and the engine is in the torso part of the knightmare frame.

The cockpit is in parallel with the body unlike those later generations of knightmare frames which had it slightly slanted upwards.

This caused a balancing problem with the knightmare frame before, our solution is the Longer arms. That's why I said that it was for balance.

Having legs made the turning angles of the knightmare frame narrower.

although it still can't scale solid walls, it is at least fast enough now. It can even do some S and zigzag maneuvers when Lady Marianne is the one piloting.

As you can guess. Lady Marianne is really an excellent pilot like what the knight of one in Charles reign, Bismarck Waldstein, said in canon.

In fact, I think that she is Ace pilot material. She only need to have her own exclusive mech and she will be really formidable.

Like when she possessed the girl called Anya Alstreim, who is the knight of six in Lelouch's time.

Although I think Lady Marianne is more compatible with melee type knightmare frame than the Heavy assault type that Anya had as her exclusive knightmare.

Right, I was also given a nobility as a reward for my 'discovery' of said material which I have many of and plans to give one for each wealthy country that is developing their own knightmare frame, or is planning to do so.

Let's get back to the present.

Right now, We just finished testing this latest proto type.

It still doesn't have any weapon though. The weapons development is separated and is being researched by the military only.

"This proto type is really much better than the first one I piloted before." Lady Marianne said to me while looking at the proto type knightmare frame at the middle of the testing field.

The testing field is mostly an open area with some trailer trucks that carries the testing and measuring/scanning devices.

"Yeah, this proto type is almost the final design. We will only need to adjust some things, remove some other or rearrange things.

Then we will only need to design the outer appearance of the knightmare frame and it will be ready for presentation in front of his majesty." I said in 'a matter of fact' tone.
