The journey to the meeting place is not long so AA and Marianne got to it quickly enough.

The whole place is now being guarded by the whole geass order.

'I could guess that the whole geass had already been bought or controlled by Charles and VV.

Even if it's a trap, we still have to go into it.

A hidden passage was made by me using my drones equipped with my very own highly advanced drilling technology underground quite a long time ago now.

There is even a rail in the passage together with an electric rail cart.

The passage itself is a tunnel with slight curves so that no one could just shoot each other from afar inside the tunnel.

It is also quite wide, it can even fit a car if needed.' AA thought inwardly as the two of them got inside the mansion where the last meeting will be held.

As they got into the meeting room, which is also the living room, AA and Marianne saw that the other three people are already inside, sitting on the single-seat couches around the circular coffee table.

The three just look at them before getting back to what they were doing.

Marianne sat near CC while AA sat on her other side.

Their couches are placed on the opposite side of Charles and VV.

There are already some cups placed on the table for everyone, a plate of cookies, and a pot of tea.

AA took hold of the pot directly after having a proper seat on his couch, he had to sip some tea no matter what.

Maybe, this tea is another one from the royalty's exclusive collection after all.

Marianne did so too but for a different reason, she wanted to calm down her nerves more by sipping some good tea.

Charles and VV seem to not notice the abnormality of Marianne or maybe they just don't care anymore because they are quite confident in their preparations right now.

Charles still had his stoic look while sipping some tea while VV just can't stop himself from grinning like crazy.

People would even hear some snickering sounds from his direction if they concentrated their attention on him.

AA with his strengthened mind has a very strong perception so he noticed, and he immediately attributed VV's glee to what they are planning to do today, this just made his conjecture more solid than before.

The silence is quite something between them, which CC started noticing too.

The atmosphere seems to be starting to have some heavy pressure so she started thinking about what could it be.

So she concentrated and looked at VV and Marianne.

She then noticed that Marianne seems to be nervous while VV seems too happy right now.

And she knows that this evil and cruel midget would not be so happy because of something everyone can think of as good, it should be because he is planning something really bad.

"AA," Charles called out as he look straight at AA as he put his teacup on the table.

"Hmmm?" AA hummed in a questioning manner as he is currently still sipping some tea but still asked with words right after. "What is it?"

"Are you not going to join us in our endeavor?" Charles asked in a very serious and solemn tone.

"Nah, I like doing things for myself," AA answered leisurely in a very neutral tone as his expression also became serious while remaining poker-faced.

CC, Marianne, and VV looked at the two of them talking to each other.

CC can't understand why they are talking about it so openly now, she did know that Charles was making AA join his 'side' before, he even killed AA's two other women just to make his intentions and inpatients known across but it seems that AA just keeps ignoring Charles with his unresponsiveness.

She then started thinking about why while Marianne on the other hand already knows what is happening, so she just started preparing her body to move quickly enough later by flexing her muscles bit by bit without making anyone notice it.

"You already lost two people important to you. Are you willing to lose another one?

I have already given you quite a long time." Charles said with a grim look on his face and a very heavy tone.

VV just looked at everything with high amounts of glee as his face can't help having a big grin while clenching his teeth with excitement.

'AA, I am reluctant to just get rid of you right now, especially since you have such an outstanding researching ability.

I feel like it would be a loss for me to not have you be used more for furthering my goals.' Charles thought inwardly with a disappointed sigh as he already knows that AA would still not agree.

"Yeah, no. You've already gone and done it by doing in Flora from before.

Besides, there is not much talking to do now.

We both know that you have already planned everything because you know it's impossible.

Sigh...

After hearing what VV said though, CC finally realized what is happening, so she bitterly smiled before glaring at Charles while ignoring VV who is quite inconsequential right now.

"Charles! Why are you doing this?!

We are allies!" CC asked in a loud voice with a frown on her face as she gritted her teeth cause she did not expect this betrayal.

'Damn you, Charles!

Sigh...

It seems that I am not good at managing organizations.

I am successful when I do things alone but I failed big time when I wanted to go big.

Tsk tsk...

If I can escape today, then I would let others be the ones managing large groups of people and I would just be at the back.

I also seem to have judged Charles and VV wrongly or maybe I have judged too good.' CC thought inwardly in frustration.
