When the titans fell

The showdown was coming to an end, engulfed in veils of violent sandstorm both warriors were exhausted, severly wounded,

Above the sky was split and below the land was drifting away due to huge cracks. It had been one ominous and dreadful day upon shargh, the waves were being felt even in the most remotest communities.

But Destiny willed it this way

The sky above the ocean of Azadaha, the great seer, was blood red. Sun did not dare to peer out, only the moons were visible and even they shied away behind veils of ominous reddish clouds.

Some days ago she had been asked about a prophecy by an old friend, a red prophecy at that, it was the gravest and most important prediciton a seer could make but it came at the cost of inevitable death,

An old friend had visited her after centuries, demanding confirmation and further information about various matters, which to say the least were frightening in themselves, he had asked her to predict the immediate future that was about to befall shargh among other things, such prophecies required extreme precision and skill but she could not dare say no to him,

nevertheless, she feared for him, she couldn't help but smile, remembering old, unwritten times when the whole world would be hellbent on a single direction and he'd be standing in opposition,

"You haven't changed old friend, but i fear this may be a bit too much for even you to handle, i fear for you" she mumbled, looking at the blood red clouds, they were swirling in gigantic waves above her.

Thousands of kilometres away, right in the middle of the origin of the tragedy was the queen of light, knelt beside her everchanging sword, Sunfyre, below and all around her were the carcasses of the stone giants, all brutally broken,

Hinting a glimpse into the never-ending inner rage she felt fighting against the demoness, never before had she been let loose, not to this extent, infront was the sovereign, face down, splattered upon the ground.

Wasl seemed unconscious, her whole body was cracked and through them a violent looking black and red light was emerging, painting the already dreadful scene with even more terror.

The light pulsed and each pulse carried a shockwave outwards, filled with an paralyzing feeling of fear, such was its intensity that some of the creatures had simply fainted,

Sunfyre was burried deep into the mehemoth abomination, like a defiant contrast between light and darkness, it had changed the stony body of the demon below to a pool of magma,

Lara huffed and unplunged her sword, lifted sunfyre and took an offensive stance with the sword aimed directly at the fallen demoness, she bit her lips as blood seeped out, clearing her dangling vision, the worst was yet to come, and the lives behind depended on her.

Suddenly the entire world shook,

And a violent scream rose into the sky, painting everything in deep crimson, it was as if the whole world had been dunked into a bottle of red ink, only a single yellow defiantly stood against it.

Wasl woke up,

her figure, was nothing but a sillouhette of darkness in the deep crimson world, and her eyes were two slits of bright red, she had changed, ascended into a form of pure energy, leaving away the broken body.

the figure kept climbing upon the sky and just by looking, it was as tall as the nearest clouds, infront of the wall of darkness and bloodlust that Wasl had become, stood definatly, a single yellow speck of light.

suddenly, streching for hundreds of metres, appeared a sword wreathed in corruption and blood, Wasl summoned Desire in her hand, if before the sword looked hellish and unnerving, now it looked like all the chaos and brutal desires of the world had manifested themselves into a long, barbaric, weapon.

Corruption seethed through its edges and fell upon the already broken land below,

Suddenly, A manic laughter resounded in the air, every single creature upon shargh heard it, felt it, deep in their souls as they shivered and hid in paralyzing fear.

They had really woken a monster.

Wasl lifted up Desire, took position for a horizontal slash, aimed at Aatish and her soldiers, and for a moment, all stilled.

A voilent streak of crimson tore through the air, spanning hundreds of metres in length, trying to divert it from hitting the land was a pillar of fire, rising visciously high into the sky, It succesfully managed to break apart the slice from the middle,

On the right a gigantic snake made of darkness slithered to take the hit, And the last part, the one aimed at Rohaan and the rest of the soldiers simply vanished into thin air, as if it was afraid of even remotely hitting the prince.

Before they had any time to recover, Desire was already aimed at them, this time in a diagonal slice, then something unexpected happen

Wasl didn't swing the sword, she simply kept it in the same position, her slits for eyes were locked onto an object infront.

"DROP IT!" Shouted Aatish,

"DROP THE SWORD!"

Wasl stuttered, looking at the bizzare scene infront.

Aatish was standing with Rohaan, her dagger was pointed to his throat, he could not quite believe what was happening and the look of betrayal he had on his face said it all,

No words were necessary,

Suddenly alot of things clicked together in his mind, he couldn't help but keep looking at the commandress as she shouted further

"DROP IT OR I KILL HIM"

Perhaps the most surprising thing was Wasl stood petrified, a giant of darkness, its sword hanging in the air, petrified and scared of a tiny flame infront.

"Go on, Kill him, what do i care" The demoness said, her voice was as if the sharpest needle striking the heart directly, but leaving one asking more.

Aatish swung the blade and Rohaan's jaw nixed with a deep gash, blood seeped outwards,

The seemingly uncaring demoness started laughing,

"I will skin you alive, butcher" she said,

"Drop your sword right now, if you want him alive" Aatish emphasized, she was not pretending.

A stutter followed by an awkward gesture of hesitation rose from the sovereign, she was deeply and madly obsessed with Rohaan at this time, in and in an extremely unsettling way.

During the entire battle she had carefully maeuvered her strikes to not even remotely approach him, except the last one, which she had hurriedly taken care of.

Wasl, dropped the gigantic ominous sword desire, it flowed downward like in a gush only to dissipate before hitting the ground, Lara stood still, her sword still aimed at the sovereign, she could not believe she had let a strike come so close to her son without being able to do anything, her stamina was completely depleted.

"I WILL TAKE OFF HIS HEAD WASL, IF YOU TRY ANYTHING" Aatish uncharateristically shouted,

"YOU KNOW MY REPUTATION, YOU KNOW THE REASON THEY CALL ME BUTCHER" she added.

These words hit like a stampede, they did more damage to the sovereign than anything else.

"I WILL.. NOT DO ANYTHING, PLEASE DONT KILL MY BELOVED" wasl spoke in a deep emotional voice.

The air shifted, it was as if that the previous dread that had plagued it wasn't simply enough as a harrowing presence neared the scene from the far left, carrying with it an ocean of energy.

Amawas appeared out of darkness, near Aatish, she held a sword spread out to the left,

"Someone is coming" She said, her voice had a tinge of rare worry in it.

In the darkness of the scene, a lonely piece of flying cloth idled near the gigantic demoness, it premeated an absolute authority, Roop was here to protect her sister.

She looked around, found Amawas, a woeful uncharacteristic grunt escaped her,

"This one again" She said,
