Of course, both high gods knew that sooner or later James and Nemesis would want to claim each other, but neither of them thought it would happen on their second day together.
The pair seemed to be trying to gain Nyx and Erebus' approval by addressing them in this way, which was quite clever, after all, it was common knowledge that Nemesis loved James, so if James wasn't against it, approval had to be given.
