The journey begins

Every member of the palace stood near the entrance, watching King Julian, Amber, and Bruno leaving the kingdom grounds. Remi starts to wipe his tears and waves goodbye using his napkin."be careful! Young King and queen". Adrian looks at Remi with an unpleasant glaze as he simply shrugs it off. Julian nods and wears his cloak hood, starts to head out. Amber and Bruno wave everyone goodbye and good luck as they follow Julian from behind as they kept walking through the capital of the kingdom, ready to exit the palace boarders.

Amber looks around with a smile on her face when everyone in the capital watches them leave, and yelling good luck. They left the city as they end up in a massive forest surrounded by tall trees. After traveling a few miles away from the city. Amber peeks at Julian and chuckles as Julian looks at Amber from the corner of his eyes. Amber quickly covers her mouth and silence herself before Julian does something that might harm her. Along the way, Bruno brush his hands on the leaves and tree trunks "the energy is being drained…" he said with a soft voice. Julian looks at Bruno's depressed gaze "that's why we need to stop this!" replies to Bruno. Amber looks at them and sighs sadly "we can't waste time…" Julian nods and grabs his pouch and takes out an old rusty map, he opens it and looks at it "well…" Amber peeks at the map over Julian's shoulder "so where are we?" he looks up at Julian with a smug expression. Julian starts to panic because he had no clue where they were. When they tried to finger out where they were a bright green light appears next to Bruno. Three of their eyes went towards the small orb. A small fairy-like figure starts to form from the orb. Bruno looks at the tiny fairy that appears from the light "hello Lilly, great timing" Lilly smiles and gives Bruno a slight nod

"it seems like masters needed my service."

Amber looks at Lilly and starts to laugh softly "we are kinder lost…" Amber narrows her eyes away, making sure that she doesn't look at Lilly. Lilly smiles and flies towards the map "Hm? let's see..." she keeps her finger near her bottom lip and looks through the map. She chuckles and touches the map, the map zoom in to the Xaya kingdom. Three of them look at the map in shock. Lilly starts to draw an 'X' they know where they were "here! This is your location". Amber looks at Lilly with a surprised face "how did you do that?" Lilly looks at Amber "you mean the zooming in? Well…I used fairy magic" Amber starts to jump in excitement "that's so cool" Julian scroll up to his map and puts it back into his pouch.

He walks a few steps and looks behind at himself and stares at Amber with a death glare "enough chit chat, let's move" Amber sigh "Yeah yeah, your majesty."

After traveling for four hours, Amber fell on her knees and starts to whine. "I can't walk anymore! Can we take a break?! We were walking for six hours straight!" Julian sighs and stops. Bruno smiles softly and walks next to Julian "Miss Amber, is right; we should get some rest…" Julian looks up and sees the sky getting darker "Hm, fine, we can take a break tonight" Amber smiles and quickly jumps back onto her feet "so where are staying!?" Julian looks around and then looks at Amber "follow me" Amber looks at Lilly and then at Julian "alright, wait for me!" she starts to chase after Julian. They walk deep into the woods as they came up with a massive cave. Amber smiles and lifts her arms. "finally!" Bruno looks at Amber running towards the cave. Julian follows Amber from behind while shaking his head "such an annoying woman" Bruno looks at Julian "master, you're also troublesome sometimes" Julian looks at Bruno gave him a cold glaze "that's enough" Bruno covers his mouth and chuckles as he enters the cave.

The three of them place their pouches on the cold floor. Bruno and Julian look at Amber. Julian lets out a deep breath "wait here, we are going to find some woods before night come" Amber starts to whines. "huh! I want to join!" Julian groans softly. "weren't you whinnying about having leg pain? just, wait here. We won't take long" Amber puffs her cheeks and folds her arms and looks away. "Hmph! Fine! Whatever" Bruno looks at Lilly and smiles. "please keep an eye on her" Lilly salutes and smiles back "Rodger that!" they both nods and leave the cave. Amber smirks and waits until they leave. She grabs her sword and smiles, closes her eyes, and lets out a deep breath. "summoning the flames from heaven! The fire of pure and gentleness appear before me" slowly opens her eyes to see her sword lighting up with white flames, starts to smile even brightly "it worked!" says with a joyful tone. She looks at Lilly and smiles. "Hey Lilly, want to explore the cave?" Lilly looks at Amber with a nervous face. "but, masters told us to stay here; we should just wait here…" Amber starts to pouts. "we will be back before they return! Come on, let's just see what's inside the cave" Lilly kept refusing Amber but, Amber kept bothering her to join her. After a couple of minutes later, Lilly finally gives up "okay fine, let's go look around but, we need to return soon before masters come back" Amber smiles more and nods.

The two of them start to walk deep inside the cold, dark cave. Water drops fall onto the ground from the spikes that lie above them. They kept walking and walking as they came across a dead end. Lilly chuckles softly. While looking around as she trembles from fear. "we should head back now" Amber sighs in disappointment but, the moment they were ready to leave but, something caught Amber's eye "wait!" she turns around and leans down to look at a tombstone, she starts to read it "this door will help you to escape Xaya easily" Amber blinks for a while "escape?" she looks at the stone wall that was in front of her, she places her palm against the wall as her hand went through it. Both Lilly and Amber looks at the wall with amazement. Lilly looks at Amber "this must be a secret portal!" she smiles in excitement. Amber looks at Lilly "wait, does every kingdom has this type of portals?" Lilly shakes her head "this wall was built because of the countless wars that held in this Kingdom, but I thought this portal was destroyed after the last war…" Amber looks at Lilly and then at the wall "we should tell about this to Bruno and Julian" Lilly nods in agreement as they both head back to the cave entrance.

Julian and Bruno were preparing the campfire when Amber and Lilly returns. Julian looks up at Amber and gets up. "where were you?" he gives Amber a murder look. Amber laughs softly and looks away. She starts to rub the back of her neck "well…I was exploring the cave?" she said with an anxious tone. Julian sighs and claps his hands to remove the dust off his palms. "so did you find anything interesting?" Julian narrows his eyes at Amber. Amber nods and smiles "in fact, yes, I found the portal to escape Xaya" both Julian's and Bruno's eyes widened "I thought that portal was destroyed" Bruno cut into the conversation. Julian grabs his pouch and looks at Amber "lead the way" Bruno looks at Julian "but? sir, shouldn't we at least get some rest?"Julian sighs and puts out the fire "we have no time to waste." Bruno tries to reach out to Julian but, he walks up to Amber "let's go" Amber puffs her cheeks "dam, you're in a really big hurry huh?" she watches Julian walking ahead without stopping. Amber quickly grabs her bag and chase after Julian "wait up!" Bruno let out a deep sigh and follows them from behind.

They finally reach the end of the cave. Julian looks at Amber with a disappointed glare."this is a dead-end?"Amber shrugs and places her palm onto the wall as it goes through it "see? It's so not a joke!" Julian and Bruno stared at the wall. Julian walks next to Amber "I will go first" he goes through the invisible gateway. Bruno pats Amber's shoulder. "I will be going next" he goes through the portal with Lilly. Amber let out a deep breath and walks through it with her eyes closed. When she opens her eyes, she was sitting on the sand as the sun was lighting the area. She gets back on her feet and looks around. "wait! We are in a desert!?" her jaw immediately drops."this wasn't what I was expecting..." Julian continues to walk ahead "let's go" Bruno looks at Amber as they both sighs "yes sir!"
