"Where were you the whole time?"

my father growled at me seeing me entering the house.

"To David's house ,dad!"

I said at once while putting off my jacket. "you did not have any training tonight ! David is running an errand and he told me about that!"

Dad smirked at me as if he knew why I went to his house for what reason .....

"I was ..."

I stammered as I was trying to make up a good story in my head...

" listen Alan!"

He got up from his chair and came to me. He stood infront of me for a while then started to speak gravely.

" you should not waste your time and energy on something or someone so trifle! your future awaits you! You are worth much more than anything you thinking about you right now! I am trying to pave the way for your future, for The throne! but look at you!! what are you doing ?"

He said in a disappointed tone then nodded his head while looking at me .as if he were ashamed of me and my actions.
