CHAPTER NINE – Another meeting…

She`s there again.

"Hey... you!"

"Ah, good morning." She bows down as she greets me.

"Not good morning..."

"Yes?"

"I have various things I want to say to you... But anyway, what are you doing here again? As for me, I woke up late, but you have a different reason, right? You`ve been here for a while now, right?"

"Yes... I`ve been."

"Or is it that you`re greeting every passing student here? Furthermore, even the late students."

"No... that`s not it. To tell you the truth... you`re the first one I greeted this morning."

"...I feel out of place like Urashima Tarou." I remembered her words from yesterday. I`m sure that`s not all to it .I`m together with a third year repeater, as if going to school just like any other students. Even more, it`s a girl...The student`s nearby could see this as something deeper than I believe.

"Sigh..."I scratched my head for no reason.

"... anyway, let`s go. There`s not much help standing still in this place."

"But... it`s still..."

"What are you going to eat for lunch?"

"I still haven`t decided yet."

"Try cutlet sandwich. It`s delicious"

"It's that cutlet sandwich... you mean the one that is rumored to be the most popular?"

"Rumored... such exaggeration."

"But, it will be difficult buying one. I`ll go with anpan."

"They always have anpan left over. You can buy it if you run to the counter. Besides, cutlet sandwich has more of an effect than anpan does."

"...?" She tilted her head a little, then she suddenly nodded, understanding what I said.

"I guess I must do my best to buy a cutlet sandwich, just like climbing this slope. I will run so hard, I may run out the back gate!"

"All right, let`s go."I don`t know if that good luck charm of hers will cheer her up. But, I pushed her back as a sign .She then started moving her feet up the slopein a hurry. Steadily taking one step at a time.
