Chapter 55.

The boss was here.

Lucas nodded his head as they all greeted him. He scanned around the room and found some of their guests gathered at the other side of the room. He wondered what was going on there.

He was about moving to that place when Sebastian suddenly shushed. He was trying his hardest to remove the wire on the scared man. The man himself wasn't aware of it.

He had given a flimsy story of how he slept and woke up with the wire all over him. He said he had taken his bath that morning, gotten ready to move out when his wife came in with a cup of coffee. He collected it in gratitude and he couldn't remember anything until he woke up few minutes later, realizing he was late for his games.

Someone was listening to their conversation.

Sebastian walked over to where Lucas stood. He greeted with a slight bow and whispered into his ears.
