Chapter 38
Aaliyah
Sunlight drifted into the room, coaxing me from a deep sleep. I yawned, peeling my eyes open. Turning to my side, I saw Tristan fast asleep, facing me with his eyes closed. I stared at him for a moment, enjoying the scenery.
His face looked younger and innocent in his peaceful sleep. It was tempting to reach out and touch his face. I could stare at him all day, but I had plans. First, I needed to take a bath and then make something for him to eat.
Slipping out from under the duvet, I walked to his closet, found a black shirt, and put it on. There were rows and rows of expensive clothes and shoes. What did he need this many clothes for?
Returning to the bedroom, I saw that Tristan was still asleep. The sun fell on his bare chest, highlighting his muscles and abs. Leaving for the bathroom, I brushed my teeth. I felt so hungry. I had forgotten to eat dinner last night since Tristan was all over me.
