"Well, isn't this devastating?"
I froze, peeling my eyes open to see the dark-skinned woman from the painting sitting beside me. I looked around to find myself in my room. Groaning in pain, I tried to sit up and saw that my dress was soaked with blood. What happened to me?
I squeezed my eyes for a moment as memories flooded my head. I vividly remebered taking abortion pills and fainting in the living room.
"We warned you about what was to come, but you wouldn't listen," she said.
"Why do I always seeing you?" I asked. "What do you want?"
"We have been trying to help you," she said. "We warned you about him, but you wouldn't listen. Now you're going to die just like we did."
"You keep saying that, yet I don't understand anything," I said. "Who are you referring to?"
"Tristan," she said. "He got us killed."
