A Wild Necro-Bot Appears!

Ms. Nano Byte and Mr. Axel Maverick began their journey towards Little Maw.

Boss was humming along smoothly as Axel drove through the highway, with Circuit Breaker attached to his car like a hoodie.

Byte occupied her usual spot, nestled in the space between the windshield and the interior.

Axel had made some adjustments to ensure her comfort, allowing her to perch there and enjoy the view of the road as he drove.

Having restocked the Stems and stashed emergency food in the compartment, Axel prepared for the journey.

As he drove, he reached for his music disk, deftly inserting it into the player, setting the mood for the ride.

An ancient song, as old as the car itself, began to play. The disk's label read 'Music to Feel Like a Classic Villain,' and the initial tune was 'Waltz' by Dmitry Shostakovich.

Axel hummed along to the song as Boss cruised down the highway, the melody melding with the futuristic scenery whizzing by.

Bright neon lights lined the streets, painting the path with vivid and diverse colors. The gleaming hues reflected off the smooth surfaces of the buildings, creating an otherworldly ambiance.

Boss came to a stop in front of a sturdy steel gate, revealing a lengthy road stretching out into the distance, flanked by desolate deserts that swallowed the glow of the futuristic city.

Past the gates, the area was dark and treacherous, and Necro-bots could appear at any moment in the middle of the road.

Want to take a pit stop for a leak? Necro-bots might blast your wieny at any moment. Craving some fresh air? Necro-bots will suck the life out of the air right from your lungs.

Beyond this gate, there was no protective enclosure; it was all open and untamed.

"This is it, Byte. Our first rodeo beyond this gate post-apocalypse. No stops unless it's life or death. No favors, no lifts. Understand?"

Byte meowed in response.

He guided the car towards the gate, his hands steady on the wheel. A brief honk echoed, and after a moment, the steel gates creaked open.

He patiently waited for the gates to completely reveal the path ahead. Once they did, he smoothly cruised through, the gates closing behind him with a mechanical hum, leaving the outside world sealed away.

Axel and Byte found themselves in the Wild World now, where there was no one to come to their aid if they were robbed or murdered by Cyber Psychos.

There was no safety net, no one to turn to for help.

They were truly on their own.

Boss cruised through the dark road, the headlights cutting through the night like twin swords, illuminating Axel's path with an eerie glow.

The atmosphere grew eerily quiet, a heavy tension settling in around them.

Then, the music switched abruptly to Vivaldi's Storm, its dramatic melody flooding the car with intensity.

With resolve coursing through him, Axel pushed down on the accelerator, Boss roaring to life as it surged ahead into the darkness.

"Let's get to Little Maw quickly. No time to waste in the Wild World."

Boss responded to his command, accelerating swiftly, while Circuit Breaker rolled smoothly, propelled by the wind.

The music pulsated through the car, igniting Axel's senses. He found himself vibing to the beat, sinking deeper into his seat, and pressing the pedal harder with each passing moment

After a while, Axel encountered his first Necro-bot in the wild.

The creature moved slowly, its gait more like a lumbering shuffle than a purposeful stride.

Its appearance was unsettling—a hybrid of man and machine, with cybernetic implants jutting out from its decaying flesh like twisted vines.

A smile played on Axel's lips as he sized up the Necro-bot.

He'd heard about these creatures and knew exactly what he was facing.

Its lack of intelligence didn't concern him; what worried him was the memory of the person it once was—a person now reduced to a mindless, hungry monster.

Axel paid little attention to the Necro-bot's skills or cybernetic enhancements. Such details held no sway over him.

And in that moment, Axel couldn't help but entertain a thought that had lingered in the back of his mind for years—a simple yet forbidden desire to run over a man, but this time, legally, of course.

Axel pressed down on the gas, causing Boss's headlights to bathe the Necro-bot in stark light.

In the glow, Axel could see the horrifying details: the Necro-bot's pink hair stained with blood, its thin and emaciated form.

One wrist hung limply, barely attached by a ligament. Its face was a grotesque sight, half of it missing, yet the jaw still moved, driven by an insatiable hunger for flesh.

The Necro-bot's attention snapped towards the approaching Boss, its movements jerky and unnatural.

Byte let out a sharp meow, sensing the impending danger.

Axel chuckled at the cat's reaction, his hands deftly shifting gears as he reached for a small glass lid. With a swift motion, he flipped it open, revealing a small red lever beneath.

Without hesitation, Axel flipped the lever, and the engine responded with a deafening roar.

The pistons churned faster, the cylinders working overtime as Boss surged forward with newfound power.

As Boss accelerated, the Necro-bot remained rooted to its spot, its eerie stillness juxtaposed against Boss's furious momentum.

"Let's see what Circuit Breaker can do, shall we?"

He reached for a button on the radio and pressed it, causing Vivaldi's "Storm" to rewind and play again. The familiar melody filled the car, adding a dramatic flair to the unfolding scene.

Circuit Breaker's low hum filled the air, accompanied by the sound of the cylinders rotating faster and faster. The spikes attached to Circuit Breaker began to spin, creating a menacing whirlwind of metal.

Meanwhile, the Necro-bot, its eyes glazed over with a menacing white glow, began to limp toward them, driven by an insatiable hunger for flesh.

In a swift and brutal motion, Boss plowed through the Necro-bot with unrelenting force.

Circuit Breaker's spikes pierced the creature's flesh, tearing it apart with savage efficiency. Flesh, blood, and metal exploded into the air, creating a gruesome spectacle as the Necro-bot was ripped into chunks.

Chunks of gore and twisted metal sprayed in all directions, staining the windshield with a grisly collage of crimson blood.

The air filled with the sickening sound of tearing flesh and grinding metal as the once-menacing foe was reduced to a mangled heap beneath Boss's relentless onslaught.

In a heartbeat, the frenzy ended, and Axel slammed on the hand brakes, bringing Boss to a sudden stop. Byte held her ground, her mechanical limb keeping her steady amidst the abrupt halt.

Checking the rearview camera, Axel watched as the Necro-bot lay torn to shreds, its remains scattered across the ground.

Circuit Breaker, now stained with blood and gore, gradually slowed its rotation until it came to a halt, the silence punctuated only by the faint hum of the engine and the distant sounds of the night.

Byte let out a relieved meow, her feline instincts sensing the danger had passed.

"Yes. Fuck yeah, baby!"

Axel exclaimed triumphantly, his adrenaline still coursing through him.

Boss roared back to life as Axel accelerated once more, Boss's engine growling in response.

Byte settled on the seat beside him, purring softly as they continued their journey, the tension of the moment gradually easing away.
