It was bright and beautiful morning. The rain had come and swept away all ill feeling. Love and other good emotions were all that remained. Marcus' eyes slowly opened. The sun pierced through his eyelids prompting him to wake up. His system had been lately programmed to kick start in the wee hours of the day, today he had slept a bit late. But that did not matter. He was justified.

Next to him was a body. A body he was well accustomed to waking up next to. With his eyes still adjusting to the influx of light, he turned his head to behold the gorgeous beauty that lay peacefully on his chest. Her chest. He closed his eyes for a moment and opened them once again. It was as if she never left.

Feeling his movement, she too began to rise and come to life. She lifted her head and rested her chin of his chest as she smiled.

"Good morning my king," she said.

"Good morning my queen."
