Chapter Thirty: Happily ever after.

"Please tell us is she alright or not?" Jake yelled at the nurse who sat at the reception. He was looking for answers yet she was withholding them from him.

"Please relax sir, otherwise I'll have to call security," she replied, startled. 

"Call security for what? I am just asking you to do your job."

Cindy tried to pull him away but was unable. He was determined. Sensing that her threat had not worked, she decided she would turn it into reality as she picked up the phone and started dialing. Jake reached over and cut the call.

"You are going beyond the line, I will call the police," the nurse warned.

"You will do no such thing," a voice emerged from behind them. A voice Jake was familiar with. It was Mr. Greenfield.
