Chapter Sixty-Five: Funeral reunion.

The ground was poised to swallow yet another piece from one of mankind's many pieces. Yet another soul had fallen in the battle against immortality. The casket hung over the pit, ready to descent into Mr. Greenfield's final home. It wouldn't be his permanent home however, he would live on in their hearts.The mere thought that his memory would one day evaporate from the confines of their feeble minds made them somewhat angry. Their minds had no right to forget, but such is the frailty inherent within the make-up of man.

There was a multitude at the gravesite, telling of the kind and generous nature of the man they were about to lay to rest. There were scores from the business sector where his shrewd alertness to opportunity and meticulous business methods had made him a captain the industry relied on to stay afloat.
