Chapter Seventy-Four: The will.

Pritchard walked onto the pavement from the parking lot tar. His face was downward facing with hand in his pockets as he made his way to the front door of the house. Underneath the verandah was his brother, the one he detested much – Nelson.

  "Hello brother," Nelson greeted.

Momentarily, Pritchard halted as he looked at Nelson with all manner of smiling put on hold.

"What do you want?" Pritchard asked.

"Come on, are you going to do me like that? I am your family, aren't I?"

Pritchard continued inside the house, brushing Nelson's shoulder as he went past him.

"I am not your family. If you have a problem with that then go argue with your dead ancestors," continued Pritchard.

Surely, no love was lost.

"By the way, the police are looking for your kid brother. Do you happen to know where he is?" Nelson said as Pritchard's hand was on the doorknob, ready to open the door and go in.
