They had already killed 63 zombies in total.
He raised his hands in air, above his head as to show no hostility, from one hand he ordered the ghoul to back off and give way for the adventurers and from the other, he signalled them to follow him.
"What's the meaning of this? Is that blue monster inviting us inside the dungeon?"
"Why would it? Monsters aren't intelligent enough to plot anything, let's just go guys." Said the swordsman while wiping the sweat on his forehead.
Everyone agreed to the logic.
Montu went near the ghoul, and asked him to order the zombies to not block the adventurers. They weren't able to understand what Montu was saying so they didn't pay it any mind, they just thought it as random growls of a monster.
Montu climed the ghoul's shoulder and began leading the adventurers deeper into the dungeon and they followed like brainless fools.
None of the zombies stopped them from advancing.
After an hour, when Montu was sure that they can't run away anymore when attacked by the ghoul, he asked the ghoul to run amok.
He began laughing hysterically like a maniac in his mind, wondering why wasn't he disgusted at the thought of killing humans.
He quickly climbed down the ghoul.
The ghoul let out a deafening roar as it charged at the group of adventurers. Its massive form towered over them, and its powerful arms swung through the air with incredible force.
"What's the meaning of this? Were we just led here to be slaughtered? F**k!" Shouted the mage while praying for her life.
The shielder moved forward to protect the group, holding his shield high as the ghoul's massive fist came crashing down. The impact shook the shielder to his core, but he held firm, gritting his teeth as he pushed back against the monster's attack.
The swordsman darted around the ghoul, moving with lightning-fast speed as he aimed his sword at the creature's back. But the ghoul was too quick, its senses honed from years of hunting and fighting in the dungeon. It spun around, bringing its massive claws down in a crushing blow that sent the swordsman tumbling to the ground.
The gunner open fired, his bullets raining down on the ghoul like a hailstorm. But they barely made a scratch on the monster's thick hide, and the ghoul charged forward, its eyes fixed on the gunner.
The assassin moved in, her daggers flashing as she aimed for the ghoul's eyes. But the monster was too quick, and it batted her away with a backhand blow that sent her crashing into the wall.
The adventurers fought bravely, but the ghoul was a formidable opponent. With each swing of its massive claws, it sent them flying back, their armor dented and their bodies bruised.
But the adventurers did not give up easily.
The ghoul opened its jaws, and a green smoke emerged from it.
The ghoul used its poison mirage skill, which enveloped the adventurers in a cloud of poisonous gas. They coughed and spluttered, their eyes watering, as the poison seeped into their bodies, the poison began to weave illusions in their head, confusing them and making them vulnerable to attack.
Despite their best efforts, the adventurers slowly began to succumb to the ghoul's onslaught. Their movements became slower, their attacks weaker, until finally, one by one, they collapsed to the ground, unconscious.
Montu was excited, seeing his plan work out perfectly without any variables.

He felt a sense of relaxation throughout his entire body, and noticed that his movements were more fluid and natural, rather than robotic or mechanical.
The 9 points in Endurance even increased his HP by 90.
The ghoul picked up the bodies of the adventurers and began walking towards the room to feast on them.
Montu was still worried about the quest he had been given. He couldn't understand why he was being asked to escape from the dungeon the following day.
He was wondering, 'From whom do I have to escape and why?'
