Chapter 1: Exam Results

 Karnan,'' Another Boring Day! Dad I am gonna get my results of midterm today.

Karnan's Dad,'' You better get good percentages or you will have good ass whopping from your mother and me too.'

'Yeah-Yeah whatever bye.'

Karnan cycles to the school while chanting the Hanuman Chalisa, having total faith that he would get more than 60% and pass the midtern exams. As he was cycling he meets up with Vinay on the same road casually whistling and cycling without aa fear in his eyes.

'Oi Vinay, we're gonna get our test results, what do you think will happpen to you??

'Nothing, who cares anyway about the test results.'

'Isn't your mother strict regarding your marks??

They searched for their benches, but couldn't find good one. Karnan suggested to sit behind Vinay's crush.

'But won't her friends sit behind her(blushing).'

"Yoi shut up you chimon, her friends are totally good for nothing and useless and ma'am won't say a thing, besides we have no business with her, isn't it Rudransh ?

'Yeah, Vinay is a coward, afraid to sit behind a girl, we used to litterally annoy her and put the blame on Nitesh who gets beaten by her'

'Yeah, I must say her punches really hurt, but not that much, the pain goes away after seconds.'

Vinay's crush name is Kritika. She is a beautiful brunette with cute eyes, very intelligent, loves anime and interested in sports.

Kritika's useless friend sitting with her said' Why are you all sitting behind us , don't you know our friends are gonna sit, get up and get lost.' 

Karnan gives a emotionless look and replies,'Shut up you chattering ugly monkey, pretty much good for nothing, what makes you think we are gonna listen to you nonsence? Rudransh let's sit here'

Kritika's friend says, I will beat you all with this badminton racket.'

'Beat us! with a badminton racket hhahahah! You can't even hold that thing with such a little height, and if you try to do that, remember we support equality, so you will get the same in return hhahah!

The Maths Teacher entered the class with a disappointed look and said,'None of you has passed the exam except for few students.'

'Karnan you have got 27 marks out of 80 and failed the exam.

'Yo Karnan failed the exam, there's no chance we'are gonna pass isnt' it Vinay??

'Rudransh you also got 27 out of 80.'

'We got the same marks and failed together, hahahahahha what a coincidence!!

Vinay was sweating with nervousness and angrily said,'You guys are laughing while failing the maths exam.'

Rudransh replied with a narrow look,' Why don't you join in the fun, you'are gonna fail anyways, ahahhhaaahhhh!

After the school was over, the three friends sat down together to discuss their result. Karnan was giving a mild look and said,'I will go first, I got 27 in maths, 65 in sst, 63 in English, 48 in Gk, 45 in AI, Excellent in Art, 58 in Hindi, 63 in French, and 66 in Science.You go next Rudransh.'

'Ok so, I got 27 in maths, 38 in Hindi, 32 in English, 55 in Science, 60 in Sanskrit. 50 in sst, 45 in AI. Yo Vinay!!'

'I am really sad guys, I scored below 30 in every subject.'Vinay puts his head down in shame. 

Karnan and Rudransh were really trying to control their laughter and were full of trears. Rudransh stands up and packs his bags proceeding to leave as his father had arriived to pick him up with his younger sister and gives them a fistbump. Vinay leaves on his cycle and says, 'I am really excited for our trip to Machu Pichu, I just hope you are able to come , Bye.'

Karnan cycles to his house , speeding past the vehicles and turns on the roads. He enter a green lush colony with huge parks and bungalows and stops at the one painted in black and white. He enters his room with a saddened look, flops down on the bed and starts to rethink his entire life, trying to search what mistakes he made and trying to find a purpose, suddenly the window near the computer table bangs very loudly, waking him from his trance. ,'Huh! I was a bit lost in my own world, let me check my quora feed, It's Shu's birthday!!! let me send a post ''Happy Birthday Shu" and uhh it's done.

The Bell rings while Karnan was getting dressed for lunch after bathing, from the sound of the slipppers he immediately knew it's his Father who made it home early after work. His father finds the testpaper results in his room desk and was a bit saddened to see the results, he called Karnan and said ,'You got really bad score in maths huh, anyways you tried your best and try harder the next, I am reallly proud of your other grades that are higher than average. ,'Thanks Dad, but Mother will be really sad and angry to know.'

,'Don't worry I will explain to her and calm her down, go and get some rest , you have to go to Machu Pichu tomorrow and Nitesh is joining us all.'

Karnan calls Rudransh to ask him if has done oacking his luggage and travelling items, but he doesn't answer the call, thinking he must be busy, he goes to the attic to find some good cleaning materials for his suitcase.
