Chapter 20: Friendship

<p>"What!!!"Phoebe and Roy shouted in disbelief. "Shhhh...this is a library"the librarian said."Sorry ma'am"they both said quietly.<br/> "Chloe...are you drunk or what"Phoebe asked."No fool... I'm not"Chloe said."Can we be friends Edward"Chloe said with her right hand stretched forward."Uhm...Uhm..ye..yes"<br/>Edward stammered."Hahaha...she didn't asked you to be her boyfriend...so why are you stammering"Roy teased him.<br/> "Wow...this is so nice...you guys are friends now"Phoebe said. "Edward...I don't want it to sound weird but we are friends now right???"Chloe said"."Of course weirdo... we're friends"Edward said"."Okay fool"Chloe said.<br/> "Why don't we finalize this friendship with a hug"Phoebe said."Yes...you guys have to hug"Roy said. Chloe and Edward moved closer till the point Chloe could feel Edward's warm breath on her face. Then she felt his hand tied round her back then she returned his hug.<br/> At that point, a feeling she killed suddenly woke up and was in her heart once again. Thoughts kept running through her mind...she couldn't stop herself...all she wanted was to remain in his arms but she couldn't.<br/> They both hugged for more than a minute until Roy and Phoebe broke them. Edward was very happy because he finally hugged the girl of his dream. He made up the mind that he will tell her about his feelings but he will wait for some time.<br/> "Alright...now you guys are officially friends...we need to celebrate"Phoebe said. "What about my dad???"Chloe asked. "We can do that another time...right now we need to celebrate"Phoebe said.<br/> "Okay...after all it's a new start in our lives"Chloe said."So where should we go to"Roy asked. "Okay???...I think we should go shopping"Phoebe said."Yesss!!! that's a great idea",Chloe said."Okay... shopping it is"Edward said.<br/> "They all left the library and left for the mall. Edward made up his mind that he will spend every penny he has on Chloe.<br/> "I'm sooo happy...it has been long since I last entered a mall for shopping"Chloe said."You are joking right"Roy asked. "Nope...I only go to the mall for window shopping and nothing else"Chloe said.<br/> "Well...I'm gonna change that...take what ever you want and I'll pay for it"Edward said."No need for that... I'll just do my normal routine,window shopping"Chloe said."Who am I to you now...I'm your friend so I'll spend on my friend and you won't say anything"Edward said.<br/> "Okay... you win...I'll do some shopping....thanks"Chloe said. Chloe went to the section that sells dresses.<br/>She saw a dress that she always wished to buy but it was too expensive.<br/>"What's wrong...I told you that you can buy anything you want...leave the price to me"Edward said.<br/> "Thank you so much"Chloe said as she gave Edward a tight hug. Edward hugged her back till Chloe realized she hugged him and apologize."Sorry"Chloe said."It's alright...I like it anyways"Edward said."Really...then expect it from me anytime"Chloe said giving him a loving look.<br/> Roy and Phoebe got to where Chloe and Edward were."Look and the newest friends in town"Phone said."Okay... let's go to the jewelry section and get some matching necklace and couple's and friendship bracelet"Phoebe said.<br/> They got to the jewelry section and checked out some necklaces and bracelets."Wow...this looks so nice"Chloe said."Do you like it?"Edward asked."Uhm...I do "Chloe said."Then you can take it"Edward said.<br/> "Chloe...check out this friendship bracelet...you and Edward should buy it to strengthen your friendship"Phoebe said. "That a nice idea... what do you think Edward"Chloe asked."Yes we should have one"."Maybe one day we'll have a couple's bracelet"Edward said to himself.<br/> Edward and Chloe got a friendship bracelet made while Phoebe and Roy got a couple's bracelet made. They all had fun but had to depart as it was getting late. "Thank you so much Edward...this means a lot"Chloe said."Anything for you"Edward said.<br/> "Thanks Edward...thanks babe"Phoebe said. Edward dropped Chloe and Phoebe at Chloe's house and left. Before Edward and Roy left,Chloe gave Edward a goodnight hug while a Phoebe gave Roy a goodnight kiss.<br/> </p>
