Chapter 19:The Mission

<p>" I don't think we can go to the library this morning...I'm not feeling too well this morning...maybe in the afternoon "Chloe said. "No problem baby girl...we can go in the afternoon"Should I stay here with you ?"Phoebe asked. <br/> "Thanks a lot but are you sure you can miss college because of me "Chloe said. "Yes I can...you need me right now "Phoebe said."Thanks a lot Phoebe... you're the best"Chloe said. <br/> Meanwhile at Roy's house,Edward received an unexpected call. "Hello...who am I speaking to?"Edward asked."Have you forgotten the voice of your uncle"Mavins, Edward's uncle said.<br/> "Uncle???"Edward said in shock. "Yes Edward... it's your uncle"."How are you doing... it's been long since we spoke"Mavins said. "Yes uncle... I'm fine...I didn't expect your call"Edward still said in shock."I know...I decided to give you a surprise call...do you like it?"Mavins asked.<br/> "Yes uncle...I love it"Edward lied."So why did you call?"Edward asked when he knows why he called."This means you have not done the mission"Mavins said."Un..un..uncle I haven't seen her"Edward said in fear.<br/> "WHAT!!!you've not killed her"Mavins said."Uncle I have not seen her and besides how can I know it's her"Edward said."I told you that she has a big mark on her lap"Mavins said.<br/> "Uncle do you expect to me to go and check the laps of any girl I see"Edward said."Young Man... that's your problem...I want that girl dead"Mavins said as he hung the call.<br/> "Ughhh"Edward said as he hit his hand on the wall."That hurts right"Roy said."Yes it does but not as much as I'm feeling right now....I'm in a tight spot...how will I find that girl"Edward said.<br/> "Why is it so important to kill her "Roy curiously asked."Well...you know I'm from Nirvana and it's a royal land"Edward said. "Yes I know...go on"Roy said.<br/> "My uncle is the chief head of the land and also the assistant to the king".<br/>"There was an ongoing war between my land and another land, Beverley"."For centuries those two lands have been in a war"."The king was sent to the land as a spy in order to kill their weakness who was the head of the land's daughter".<br/> "That time,the king was still young and naive so my uncle sent a spy to follow him and he discovered that the king fell in love and impregnated the head's daughter"."It was on their wedding day that he was retrieved from the mission and all his right as a king was taken away from him partially" "They lied to the king that his child died that's why he didn't bother to find his child".<br/> "My uncle then sent me here to find her and kill her because they don't want any relation with that land"."And automatically that child will be the heir of Nirvana and my uncle wants me to be the heir"Edward narrated.<br/> "Wow.... interesting... but do you really want to be the heir?"Roy asked."Not at all"Edward said."But why do you want to kill the girl"Roy asked."I don't want to kill her...if I really want to kill her,I would had found informations about her but I have no choice but to listen to my Uncle"Edward said.<br/> "I have to find more informations about Berveley"Edward said. "I have an idea...why don't we go to the library...we may find some informations"Roy suggested."Then let's go to the library now"Edward said. <br/> Meanwhile at Chloe's house, Chloe had already gotten ready but was still weak. "Chloe are you sure you want to go in this condition?"Phoebe asked."Yes... I'll do anything to find informations about my dad."Okay baby girl, let's go before it's late.<br/> Chloe and Phoebe got to the library and went to the section that had informations relating to nearby lands. They got there but to their earnest surprise,they saw Roy and Edward.<br/> "Babe!!! you're here"Phoebe said in shock."You!!!"Roy also said in shock."What are you guys doing here"Roy asked.<br/> "We're here to find informations about my dad"Chloe said."What are you guys doing here"Chloe asked. "We...we...we are here to find informations about my parents"Edward lied. He didn't want to tell them about his mission because it might sound weird .<br/> "Okay???"Phoebe said."Edward's parents are dead and we're here to see if we can find any memories of them"Roy said."Seriously??? Chloe said feeling so bad."Edward I didn't know about this.....I'm so sorry"Chloe said."This is one of the reasons why Edward is such a jerk"Roy said.<br/> "Edward I know how it feels to be without someone and it very painful...I can't imagine what you went through living life without your parents"Chloe said.<br/> At that moment, Chloe felt really bad for Edward and decided to put all the hatred she has for him aside and become his friend. "I know this might sound strange but after all I heard,I know you must have passed through a lot and maybe you're a nice person after all... so can we be friends???"Chloe asked.</p>
