A long way Between the Truth and Trust (part 3)

Mr X refused… and said he is not going to leave anyone here!! Yet, with the body of Amie and the weak Si Da, Mr X couldn't do anything as he promised to protect both… he thought of going back to the city, but again knew that since the gangsters knew about the two hostages fled… the city must be surrounded by all the mafia troops… he was confused what to do.

Not long later, he decided to hide the two women between the trees and then to come back to fight side by side with his friends… no matter what will happen!! So, they withdraw to a densely wooded place…at this moment… a group of the children crossed the men's way leading the way towards the gangsters without even looking at them…!! They lead the way towards the gangsters…fearlessly. The kids were holding cleaning bags. At the queue of this group, there was young Lu Di and Young Sam…

Si Da: what do these children do here!!

Mr. X tried to stop them but Sam and Lu Di (the two kids Amie brought the food to... and those taking care of the deaf-mute old woman) stopped him… and asked him to take care of Amie.

"we will win some time for you, and do not worry we will be fine" Sam said.

At the surprise, when the kids arrived at the gangsters, they didn't do anything to them. The kids acted as picking up the trash from the ground… the gangsters stepped backward to allow them pick all the trash…one of them asked the children whether they saw some strange men or women, and the children denied it.

Mr. X, his men and Si Da were astonished and were questioning why the mafia use children to clean the forest…!! And why they need to clean the forest to start with!!

After an hour.. two of the gangsters appeared behind Mr X and his group, they followed their traces from the forest "I found them!" one of them shouted… Mr X's men attacked them and brought them down… yet they have already attracted the others' attention… so they quickly hurried towards them and encircled them. Sam and Lu Di quickly gathered the kids and crossed the forest towards the main road "lets' go… it is dangerous here.. the gangs will surely use weapon now" Sam added…"what about sister Amie? She seems very weak.. let's help them" Lu Di said. Sam refused and reminded her of what Amie always told them..

Amie took care of the children since she met them five years ago… she always reminded them to be obedient and not cause their harm… "as far as we do what she asked us to do here, she will be okay… since we finished our part of her plan, we should go to the main road as she asked me to do" he added. He took his phone and read again a message received from Amie: "Sam! Take the kids to the left side of the forest for cleaning… remember you just have to clean; when you finish go to the main road towards the town and sit there", someone will pick you up there".

This message is sent by Amie in the forest when she stepped back. And as it seems Amie has more surprises for the gangsters.

The fight between Mr. X's men and the gangsters was inflamed and took some time. Half an hour passed, although none used weapons; yet, but the blood was all over their bodies which scared Si Da… Mr. X was standing in front of Si Da to protect her and at the same time holding Amie's who passed out earlier and didn't wake up yet. At the moment, a huge man attacked him.. Mr. X tried to defend as much as he can.. but was hold back because of Amie's body… the man turned to hit Mr. X who lost his balance for a while, but someone rapidly took him down quickly…

at a surprise, it was Ka Di. Ka Di …at that moment.. Mr. X stood face to face, looking at each other… they seem to know each other… yet none said a word to other… it seems there are many words they need to throw for each other.. yet.. only silence took place. Ka Di came closer to him and snatched Amie from him.

Si Da was on the clouds as she saw her brother and went to hug him "brother you are so late" she cried. "you don't you care about me?!! You only care about her??" she added.

Before adding any word, the gangsters when hearing the word brother stepped back "keep the two Ackmans alive, and kill all the others" one of the men shouted.

Ka Di stepped at the back and Mr. X went to fight with his men.. Jay joined the fight, and for certain reason, she covered her face too. Although she wasn't that strong, but she kept using tools to take down some men and to defeat them "Oh!! now I regret not learning fighting with Amie, Mom was right". Jay saved some of Mr. X's men with her tactics… so she easily gained their trust. While fighting she glimpsed Mr. X " Oh! You are here too!! Am sorry we have no coffee to offer to you"..

Mr. X eyebrows furrowed "what does a weak girl do in such harsh environment!! Your queen isn't treating you fairly" he sarcastically said!! "and this is not your house to offer some coffee to me, isn't it!!" he added.

"I told you to remember her name, but it seems you don't want to", Jay angrily added.

Mr. X seems enjoying her anger…but didn't answer.. he saved her many times "I'm giving you back what you and your queen owe me" he added. Jay astonishingly said "what do you mean?" Mr. X when saving her again says that he saved her for saving his men ... she smiles .. and carry one the battle.

When they were about to finish all the gangsters, one of the gangsters came behind Ka Di, when Ka Di felt him, he hit him, but lost his balance because of Amie. He decided to put her not far away for him and asked Si Da to shout when one approached them.. Ka Di started fighting with the man again.. but unfortunately another man came behind the tree where he put Amie, and covered Si Da's mouth to not shout… "you are important to us, so we can't let you go easily… our boss needs you!!" he laughed.. when he turned back to sneak out with Si Da, he found Amie's wake… Si Da seeing her face remembered their first time meeting.. the same looks.. she same gaze.. the same devious soul… "where are you going!!" said Amie with a shaking voice!!

Si Da got goosebumps when seeing Amie in that way… the tenderness, the soft voice… the smiling face …all disappeared.. she seems being haunted by the devil.. "where do you think you're going I said" Amie shouted… she took a sharp dagger ... the way she holds the dagger indicated something to the gangster.. but couldn't say a word.

"If you want to complete your mission and win respect to your tribe and move to the fourth level, you gotta tell me where I find the boss…you can take her with you, in exchange, I need the name of your boss or his place… you know if you keep living as third grade tribe, you will be a good tribe for sacrifice, don't you think?" She deviously smiled at him.
